Private 4 Hour Guided Historic Beach Tour

My fiance and I took the private 4 hour tour with Captain Ron and it was the best tour ever. We had a fantastic time. Ron gave us so much historical information and took us to the most beautiful spots, including the sugar plantation. We were able to swim, have a wonderful lunch and learn so much from Ron. Highly recommend, cannot wait to go back again!

We absolutely loved the tour, we were lucky enough to get Hibiscus as our guide. We had a family of 11 from all age ranges the youngest being 3 and everyone enjoyed. If you go to St John this is the best way to see the island in one day.

Hibiscus was the best tour guide we could have asked for! We had a wonderful 4 hours traveling the island without having to navigate driving on the left side of the road. She was friendly, knowledgeable, kind, and willing to share her perspectives about island life. Our nephews, who have visited many times before raved and raved about how much they enjoyed the tour and information.

Evans was our tour guide and he did a marvelous job enlightening our group on the history of St John. Evans was courteous, knowledgeable, professional, and humorous. We fully enjoyed his presentation. I would rate him 10 out of 10.

Just awesome start to finish! We did the ferry from St Thomas to St John and got there almost an hour before our 10 am scheduled time. We tried to see about starting our tour early. The guy we met (can’t remember his name but he represented the company exceptionally well) was super helpful and called our tour guide and driver Hibiscus who showed up within 25 mins and we were on our way. I tried to tip him for his help and he wouldn’t accept it and said “nah, it’s all about providing good service.” WOW! Can’t say enough great things about Hibiscus. If I could give her 10 stars I would. My family loved her. Super knowledgeable and sweet. During the course of the day, we extended our scheduled four hour tour by two hours with zero regret. This is the second time we booked a tour with Ron - and this time we even extended our tour for an extra 2 hours! Ron is a retired St. John firefighter - he knows everything, everyone, and every place. We took our kids, ages 7 and 11 AND our parents, ages 81 and 85. The tour is perfect for all ages. You won't regret booking a tour with Star Fish.

This is a great way to see the island with knowledgeable local guides. While cruising the Caribbean, we stopped in St. John for the day. The pick up is centrally located and just a short walk from where our tender left us. We enjoyed the tour and beauty of the island and liked that we got to spend some time swimming and relaxing on the beach while our guide waited for us. We liked the privacy of having the taxi to ourselves so that we determined how much time to spend at each spot. Parking at hot spots is at a premium, so I recommend this over a Jeep rental or other car.
