An extraordinary team that helped me plan the most magical proposal of my life!
An extraordinary team that helped me plan the most magical proposal of my life!
From the moment I first reached out to Hassan on WhatsApp to ask if he could help me plan a secret marriage proposal for my now-fiancée, I knew we were in the best hands possible.
Planning a 3-day tour from Ourika Valley to the Sahara Desert is already an amazing adventure, but planning a life-changing secret moment in another country requires complete trust. Hassan made everything effortless. From our very first messages, he was responsive, reassuring, and completely aligned with my vision.
Our guide, Ibrahim, was simply outstanding throughout the entire trip. He wasn't just driving us; he became a great companion. His energy, love for Morocco, also all the global cultures, great music, wisely communication and warmth made the entire journey from Ourika to Merzouga fun and unforgettable.
When the moment for the proposal came in the desert, Hassan, Ibrahim, and the camp team executed the surprise with absolute perfection and total discretion. Ibrahim seamlessly brought us to the top of a sand dune by Camel 🐫 ride right at sunset, where a breathtaking private setup — complete with carpets, cushions, flowers, drinks, and delicious snacks — was waiting for us.
When I asked her to marry me as the sun set over Merzouga, her reaction was pure emotion and tears of joy. It was a moment we will cherish for the rest of our lives, and none of it would have been possible without the heart, dedication, and flawless coordination of Visit Maghreb.
If you are looking for an authentic, seamless, and deeply caring tour agency in Morocco—or if you are planning a special moment of your own—look no further than Hassan and Ibrahim.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making our dream come true! ❤️

An exceptional and unforgettable experience with Visit Maghreb
From my very first conversation with Hassan to our return to Marrakech, every detail of our journey with Visit Maghreb was handled with professionalism, care and remarkable attention to detail.
Visit Maghreb was the fourth agency I contacted before booking, and Hassan’s professionalism and responsiveness immediately stood out. Choosing them was undoubtedly the right decision.
Our journey began in the Ourika Valley, where Ibrahim picked us up directly from our accommodation. This personalized service made the beginning of our trip completely seamless.
Ibrahim was an exceptional guide: knowledgeable, warm, attentive and full of energy. He genuinely loves Morocco and shared his passion for the country throughout our three days together. He also made the journey incredibly enjoyable, we shared music, sang and danced along the way! He was always happy to accommodate our requests and knew exactly when to suggest a beautiful place to stop, whether for a visit, a meal or simply to enjoy the scenery.
And then came the unforgettable surprise. ❤️
At sunset, just before reaching our desert camp, the guide took us to the top of a dune, where a beautifully arranged private setting awaited me: flowers, cushions, a carpet, drinks, almonds and cheese. It was a marriage proposal!
My now-fiancé had secretly asked everything to Hassan, who coordinated with Ibrahim and the desert team. It was a true cross-team operation, executed with incredible discretion and attention to detail. I was deeply moved, and I will forever associate the Moroccan desert with one of the most beautiful moments of my life.
The desert camp itself was equally memorable, with a warm and welcoming team who made us feel incredibly well cared for and ended the evening with music, dancing and Berber songs around the fire.
I wholeheartedly recommend Visit Maghreb, and especially Ibrahim, for anyone looking for a truly personalized and memorable Moroccan experience.
Thank you to Hassan, Ibrahim and the entire team for making our journey, and one of the most important moments of our lives, so extraordinary. ❤️

Magnificient 3 day tour of the Marzouga Desert
We promised our daughter a trip to Morocco for her birthday. The main event that our daughter wanted was to ride the camel and spend a night in the desert. So my wife researched all that is available for the Marzouga desert tours and found the three day tour starting from Marrakech.
After researching the reviews we found that all reviews were more related to the hotel that arranges the tour were great. But nothing about the tour. We took a leap of faith and booked it. The tour was private for three people. We requested a driver that spoke English, and. a vehicle that accommodates the three of us with the luggage.
The response was swift, precise, and plenty of explanation. They also sent us a pamphlet that explained the whole tour. We spent over a 1000 Euros for the three of us. This included two nights stay one in hotel, and the other in a luxurious tent in the desert, two dinners and two breakfasts.
The trip was spectacular. The first day, we started early in the morning. The driver picked us up near the Riad. The SUV was spacious, lots of room for the three of us, and our bags.
The driver Zaki spoke English quite well, was polite and very informative. He is licensed in all aspects of tourism and what a pleasure to be served by Zaki. He was very helpful, explained everything in detail. Told us about the stops he was going to make along the way. He made the trip so pleasant.
We drove through the Atlas mountains which was amazing with scenery and elevation. He drove the speed limit, which was very joyful and made us feel very safe. From one town through the mountains to another, he told us the name of each town, what it means, and all details.
I remember stopping at a historical site called Ait Bin Haddou. It was magnificent. Very ancient. Had many movies filmed in there, including Prince of Persia and many other movies. Zaki climbed the steep hill with us. My wife stopped half way for she was tired, so Zaki asked a shop keeper to have my wife rest in his shop as my daughter Zaki and I climbed the rest of the way. What a pleasant experience. We had lunch there. We asked Zaki to have lunch with us, but he insisted on giving us our privacy.
After lunch we continued our journey through the mountains from one town to another. Zaki took us through the Hollywood of Morocco where many movies were filmed, on to the monkey fingers mountain and more towns. He explained along the way and answered every question. He made us feel like he also is enjoying the journey.
The first day we spent the night in hotel tucked into the mountains after having dinner. What an experience.
Woke up the next day to a really nice breakfast after which our journey continued through the mountains to an absolutely beautiful gorge whose history Zaki explained, where many people visit, and a popular destination for rock climbers. Then our journey continued through the mountains to a place where he stopped to have a break and asked the shop owner to dress all of us in a Barbar traditional dress to take pictures, followed by coffee and a snack. From there he took us through a spot where the locals had perfected irrigation by digging wells and having one feed into the other for miles. The keeper of the spot explained it all to us, and took us below to show us how the digging was done. We took a bit of a break in His hut. Continued after for over an hour to reach the hotel that organized the tour. In there 5 camels were waiting for us. Three were for us and the other two were for a couple from Germany. The camels were already laying down waiting for us the climb and ride which we did immediately after. The hotel looked after our luggage and we only took whatever is necessary for the night.
We set out riding the camels for an hour and a half. It included a stop to have the person leading the first camel take a sunset picture for all of. We reached the base camp. The operators were waiting for us. They offered us tea and refreshments, followed by a delicious traditional Moroccan dinner. After dinner they surprised us with a beautiful birthday cake for our daughter and sang for her.
After dinner they led us outside to an area where they lit a fire and played traditional Barbar music on the drums. We actually danced to that music and had a great time.
We then settled into our tent which included a toilet a sink towel and lots of room.
We set our alarms to wake up early to watch the sun rise which was amazing. We walked in the desert and our daughter climbed a 30 metres dune. Wow. Really wow. After that we walked back had breakfast gathered our items and were driven back in an SUV to the hotel as Zaki was waiting for us to drive us back to Marrakech.
Zaki took a more direct route to get back and he drove so safely, and similar to the way into the desert he stopped to give us a break and rest in few places.
The experience was beyond amazing, the driver was phenomenal, the trip was way more than expected. Everyone we encountered on the journey was very pleasant and the scenery was amazing.
We recommend this tour to anyone that has interest in experiencing the desert, and for those that don't, think about it. Ensure that you use the Maghreb agency and be sure to ask for Zaki to be your driver if you want the whole experience.
We loved it, and are sure that you would too.

An amazing Marrakech to Merzouga adventure.
We had a wonderful experience with our trip from Marrakech to Merzouga / Sahara. Collected from our riad by our guide Said who looked after us extremely well for 3 days. Our van was new and very comfortable and carefully driven by Hassan. Both men were very pleasant and always ensured that any needs were met and that we were having a good time. We stopped at multiple places of interest over the journey. The scenery was incredible and all stops we made were very interesting and enjoyable.
We journeyed to the desert camp by camel which was fun and provided a magical viewpoint over the Saharan dunes.
Sunset and sunrise were spectacular. The desert camp was very comfortable and once again our hosts met our every need. Even chilling wine that we had stopped to purchase en route. We enjoyed a musical performance and dancing by the campfire before bed.
Communication with Hassan who we booked the tour with was always clear, concise and warm.
Thank you to Hassan and colleagues for your incredible hospitality and an experience we will never forget.
Especially as I must have another 1000 photos on my phone trying to capture it all!!

Beautiful from beginning to end
We had high expectations regarding the Sahara, but the whole trip surprised us. The desert was spectacular, but so were the places we visited along the way.
The road that crosses the High Atlas was one of our favorite parts. We stopped several times to take photos and enjoyed seeing rural Morocco, far from the crowded tourist areas.
The accommodation along the route was comfortable, and the desert camp was a wonderful experience. The staff was very welcoming and the food, excellent.
Visit Maghreb handled the organization very professionally, and our driver made the trip easy and pleasant.

Our best road trip in Morocco
It felt more like a road trip with a local friend than a classic organized tour. Our driver was friendly, easygoing, and always ready to give us explanations when we asked for them.
We crossed the mountains, visited historical sites, traveled through beautiful valleys, and finally reached the Sahara. The landscape changed so spectacularly that we never stopped taking photos.
The evening in the desert was unforgettable. We admired the sunset from the dunes, had dinner at the camp, and spent time outdoors enjoying the stars.
Three days were just enough to give us a taste of southern Morocco, although next time we will definitely stay longer.

A trip we will never forget
This tour offered so much more than just an excursion into the desert. We explored beautiful valleys, spectacular mountain roads, old kasbahs, and charming Berber villages before we reached Merzouga.
The luxury camp was one of the most beautiful places we stayed during our Morocco vacation. The staff welcomed us warmly, the food was excellent, and our tent was surprisingly luxurious and comfortable.
Our driver always had a smile on his face, spoke excellent English, and did everything to ensure that everyone was satisfied. Visit Maghreb really knows how to organize an unforgettable trip.

A beautiful route through southern Morocco
It was not just a transfer from Marrakech to the desert, but an authentic trip through southern Morocco.
Each day held something different for us. The mountain roads were impressive, the kasbahs fascinating, and the landscapes of the Dades and Todra regions, beautiful. We especially enjoyed seeing how the landscape changed little by little as we approached the Sahara.
When we finally arrived in Merzouga, the golden dunes seemed even more impressive to us than in the photos we had seen on the Internet. The camel ride was calm and fun, and the evening at the camp was fantastic.
Visit Maghreb organized everything perfectly, and our driver was very professional and a really nice person to spend those three days with.

An unforgettable first visit to Morocco
For our first trip to Morocco, we wanted to discover Marrakech and the Sahara, and this tour was exactly what we were looking for.
It was three intense but truly pleasant days. We saw many different aspects of Morocco, from the mountainous landscapes and ancient kasbahs to the palm-rich valleys and the enormous dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Our driver was one of the best aspects of the experience. He was always available when we needed something, but he also gave us the necessary space to enjoy the trip on our own. He knew the best places to stop to take photos and explained many things to us about the areas we were passing through.
The sunset in the desert was simply spectacular. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Marrakech.

Much more than just a desert race
We booked the three-day desert tour from Marrakech with Visit Maghreb, expecting mainly a desert experience, but the trip itself turned out to be one of the highlights of our vacation.
The ride over the Atlas Mountains was spectacular and it was fascinating to explore Aït Ben Haddou. We also enjoyed the changing landscape while we were on our way to Merzouga through the valleys and small villages.
The Sahara was incredible. We arrived just in time for the camel trek and saw the sun disappear behind the dunes. The camp was comfortable, hospitable, and beautifully located. After dinner, we spent some time outdoors to enjoy the silence of the desert.
Everything was well organized and the communication with Visit Maghreb before the trip was excellent.
