Excellent tour balancing education, honesty and humour
This was by far one of the best tours I have EVER done! We were conveniently picked up at our cruiseport and then toured into Belfasts neighbourhoods where our guide (John) provided us with the history and his experiences- carefully noting both sides of this “conflict”. Every visitor to Belfast would benefit from this tour and (re) education. Truly inspirational, educational and done with brutal honesty and humour.

Fantastic Tour with John

A must have experience
I cannot recommend booking this tour enough. Our incredible tour guide John completely elevated our experience with his rich knowledge of Belfast and his kind demeanor. He told stories clearly with great depth, yet remained unbiased to the history of Belfast. We learned so much from this tour, not only due to John’s remarkable knowledge, but his attentiveness, as questions and conversations were very much welcomed and encouraged. We cannot thank John enough for such an amazing experience!

The best black cab tour in Belfast
I highly recommend this black cab tour. You get to visit several key murals and the peace wall, but more importantly, you hear from John who shares his personal experience of living in Belfast during “the Troubles”. I was deeply moved by this tour and John’s knowledge and kindness. Hearing the history from someone who was here for it is imperative. If you visit Belfast, take this tour.

Excellent tour
John Mc did a brilliant job on Saturday 21st last. There were four of us together & we all really enjoyed ourselves and were educated so much more. Great to get the in depth grass roots story and delivered with true factual passion. Highly recommended.

Educational experience
Fantastic Black Cab Tour! It was both educational and really engaging, giving us a great insight into Belfast’s history and the stories behind the murals.
Our guide John was brilliant – very knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the city. He really did make the whole experience more interesting, what a top man!
