Highly recommended
We had a great time on our day trip to Lexington and Concord. The tour guide was knowledgeable and very helpful. Things stayed on time, but we never felt rushed. It was a great way to learn about the start of the American Revolution while standing on the grounds where it happened and also to visit one of the locations most associated with the American Renaissance in literature (Emerson, Thoreau, Hawthorne, Alcott, etc.) I don't think the Concord Museum was on our original schedule, but it was one of the highlights. The electronic wall showing how the patriots flooded in to help as word spread about the British troops marching toward Concord was very interesting. I do not recommend eating lunch at the Colonial Inn (which seems to be the usual stop). Our guide said we could go somewhere else to eat, and we wish we had. Except for that, this was a day well spent and much enjoyed, and I highly recommend it.
Operator response
We're thrilled you enjoyed the Lexington and Concord tour with Maria and appreciated the historical insights! We are sorry the Colonial Inn did not fit your group's preferences, but we are glad it did not mar the day overall!

Well worth the investment!
We had a great tour day with Mark! After a few days of exploring Boston and seeing the Freedom Trail and experiencing the Boston Tea Party, this was a perfect way to wrap up our historical focused family trip and go through the start of the revolution in order. We learned so much more than a self-guided tour would have been and having an expert to share fun facts and do the driving was wonderful.
Extra Special Highlights for us:
⭐️ Lexington- Buckman Tavern
⭐️ Minute Man National Park- Hartman Tavern
⭐️ Concord - North Bridge, Wright Tavern, Alcott School of Philosophy and Walden Pond
⭐️ Sleepy Hollow Cemetery
Much appreciated the reservations made for us at the Colonial Inn- yum!
I traveled with grandparents (in their 70s), and teens (including one with special needs) and it was a great experience for us all. Chargers and water in the van were also appreciated- they really think of everything to make the day comfortable and educational!
I know it’s an investment to do this tour- but it was well worth it for our family of 5!
Operator response
Thank you for your very thorough review! Our guides and our behind-the-scenes team work hard to make every experience amazing and it sounds like we really shined for your group; we're glad to hear it! Mark will definitely appreciate your kind words.

Great tour! Don’t miss it!
My husband and I took this tour our final day in Boston and it did not disappoint. Alex was a great storyteller and a fountain of knowledge as we asked question regarding our country’s history in the American Revolution. This trip will ignite a love and appreciation for our nations forefathers and their families. Great tour!! Highly Recommend.
