Door-to-Door Service with Great Food, Culture, and Personalized Recommendations

Our private tour from Munich to Prague was a great way to see some interesting sites along the way and learn a bit more about the history and people of the region. Since the train trip between the two cities can be a bit long, a private tour was perfect to add a little sightseeing and great food into the day! What made the trip even better was our wonderful guide, Valerie, who shared insights about the region and what daily life is like in Prague. Most importantly, when our younger child got a severe earache during the ride, she jumped into action, taking us to a local pharmacy and helping translate the issue. We couldn't have done that on our own. When she dropped us off at our Airbnb (a huge bonus!), she provided a full list of recommendations for our stay in Prague. Overall, a wonderful and personalized experience!

Worthwhile Trip!

We enjoyed our guided drive from Munich to Prague with Abdul. He was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about our stops along the way. We saw towns we wouldn’t have seen otherwise.

Stefan did an excellent job with everything, from pre-trip communications up to dropping us off at the hotel. Very knowledgeable

Stefan did an excellent job! Our trip was quick and time flew by as we saw the beautiful countryside and lesser visited areas that one would normally miss when flying instead of driving.

Fun munich-to-prague transfer tour

Our family of 4 had a wonderful day with Jane on our trip from Munich to Prague. The stops she planned were interesting and fun, and we enjoyed being able to decide how long to stay at each destination. She's a great driver and the van was very comfortable. We appreciated her in-depth insider knowledge and learned a lot!

Opportunity to get out of...

Opportunity to get out of Prague and see more of Bohemia while transiting to Munich. Beats sitting on a train for 5-6 hours.

Take the scenic route from Munich to Prague

If you have the time, this is a fantastic way to travel between Munich and Prague. There were seven adults on our trip (the two of us plus another group of five), and the 9-seater van comfortably accommodated everyone and their luggage, including large suitcases. The vehicle was clean and modern, although it’s worth noting that it was a passenger van rather than a mini-bus, so legroom is more limited than some travellers might expect.Three unique stops along the way, and our tour guide, Nikolai, was informative and allowed our group to have a little bit of flexibility at each location. Regensburg was a short walking tour through the town down to the river (with an unscripted side-quest to duck into the Dachshund Museum gift shop!). At Pilsen, as it was a hot day (mid 30’s), our group decided to spend the entire time at the Pilsner Urquell brewery for a late lunch and a few refreshing beverages. The stop at Karlštejn Castle involved a fairly steep uphill walk to reach the castle itself, although there are shops and restaurants at the base for those who prefer not to make the climb. We arrived in Prague at around 6:30 pm, having enjoyed a full day of sightseeing rather than simply travelling between destinations. Nikolai’s local knowledge and relaxed approach helped make the experience particularly enjoyable. Overall, this was an interesting, enjoyable, and convenient way to get from Munich to Prague, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking to make the journey part of the experience.

Friendly, Flexible, Informative

Csenge was an amazing guide. It was like a road trip with a friend .... An extremely knowledgeable friend! She was so flexible and understanding while still getting us to our destination on time. We had a fantastic time and would recommend this to anyone. We were a family of 4 from the US with 2 teenagers, one of which is autistic. Thank you Csenge for the education and the memories!

Highlight of our vacation

We traveled from Munich to Prague with our family of 5. It was one of the best parts of our vacation! Our guide, Martin, was very knowledgeable about the places we visited and local customs. We enjoyed all of our stops. The town of Regensburg, Germany was beautiful and a lovely change of pace from the city life in Munich.

We had the best time with Nikolai and he made our transfer from Munich To Prague an absolutely amazing time and was so knowledgeable and so polite when we wanted to stay at a place a little bit longer he was an absolute treat of a 1. tour guide, but also 2. driver for our van. So greatful to have such a knowledgeable and wonderful driver for our transfer. Can’t wait to figure out our next trip to see if we can use side trip tours again! It’s totally and absolutely worth every penny especially if you have a big group!
