We’ll visit one of the most iconic spots in Saxon Switzerland National Park—the breathtaking Bastei Bridge. Built in the 19th century, when the region first became a popular destination for nature lovers and artists, the bridge connects towering sandstone rock formations high above the Elbe River.
From the Bastei rocks and the bridge, you’ll enjoy spectacular panoramic views over the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and the endless green forests that stretch across the landscape. So much better than a train!
Our trip included Berlin, Prague, and Munich. We booked Sidetrip Tours between Berlin and Prague, but booked a train from Prague to Munich. Our Sidetrip ride was so much more comfortable, with some beautiful stops and tours along the way. Our tour guide, Pavlina, was fun to talk to and knowledgeable about lots of great topics. On the other hand, our train was hot and cramped, with stress about where to put our luggage.In addition, we left some items in our Berlin hotel by mistake and Pavlina worked with her teammate Sarka to retrieve and deliver to Prague. Amazing customer service going above and beyond. Without them our trip would have been a mess. I highly recommend and would go with Sidetrip again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic trip!
This trip hugely exceed our expectations. We were a family of 3 traveling from Prague to Berlin and we had a really enjoyable. day. Nikolai was a fantastic guide! He was very informative and such a pleasant person to spend a day with. I highly recommend him and Sidetrip tours. The communication and organizing was seamless from the moment of booking to the day of our departure. A great alternative way to move from city to city..

Prague to Berlin
We had a great time with William on our Sidetrip tour from Prague to Berlin. William was friendly and knowledgeable. The tour ended up being just our small party, so it was nice & personal, more like we were with a local friend.

Great way to see some BEAUTIFUL scenery, walk and get from Prague to Berlin!
Our party of four needed to go from Prague to Berlin, and having Nikolai pick us up at our hotel, take us there, show us sites along the way, give advice, and good humor was FUN! Even in some chilly, rainy weather, he walked us around Moritzburg Castle, which was perfect because it was EMPTY! And he was kind and generous to our friend who stayed in the van when there was walking involved that our friend could not do. Thank you thank you Thank you, Nikolai and Sidetrip Tours!

Brilliant way to travel
We travelled from Prague to Berlin with Sarka as our guide. She was amazing, very informative and entertaining.

Great tour and transportation

Fantastic trip
Filip, the driver, was on time, polite and accommodating. Nice stopping points along the way and great info. Dresden and the park were the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended!
