Our tour of the Prado was amazing! Being the first to enter before the crowds really allowed us to experience the space and the unparalleled collection without interruption. Our guide Adam was personable, knowledgeable, and, really, just a pleasure to have leading us through the museum. I would easily recommend this tour to anyone looking for a more personal Prado experience or an early start.

David was amazing and we learned so much about the art of Spain.
Ernesto was an excellent guide and storyteller. He made the art fun and easy to follow while still sharing interesting details. Being at the Prado before opening with such a small group was a great experience, quiet, no crowds, and plenty of time to really see the paintings. After the tour, you can stay and explore the museum on your own. Later that day we walked by and saw an incredibly long line to get in, which made us appreciate the early access even more. If you enjoy art, I would definitely choose this tour.
As an American artist, I have mainly studied art history through books and what I have seen in museums around the country. At 77 years of age, I am enjoying my first trip to Europe, visiting France, Italy, Scotland and now here I am in Madrid. I have long known of the Prado and have wanted to visit it for many years knowing what it has in its collection. Today I enjoyed a marvellous three hour private tour with about a dozen other people. My Guide‘s name was Ernest and he was very knowledgeable about his subject and delivered his information in a comprehensive and exciting manner. He very intelligently answered all of our questions which added more fun information to the tour. From the development of each artist brushstrokes and the history of the types of paint that came to be, and to the cultural beliefs of the times in which they painted brought each artist to life. He gave me an emotional growth in my understanding of the world’s art. Thank you Ernest. My highest recommendation. Keep him, he’s your best asset. I understand, but unfortunately the Prado does not allow photography.
Ernesto was amazing!! One of the best guides we’ve ever had. I highly recommend this unforgettable tour!
Our tour guide, David, was excellent. He had a good knowledge of both art and history. Our small group of 15 people had the Prado Museum to ourselves for this early entry tour. This is the best art museum tour in my life! It is a “must do” experience.
Being able to see these spectacular pieces of art before the museum opens was really special. The guide was terrific and taught us details of pieces that we had previously seen. Highly recommend.
David was a wonderful guide to the treasures of the Prado Museum! He was interesting and informative and very fun. Seeing the Prado before it opened to the general public was also very special. I stayed in the museum after the tour ended and the museum opened to the public. Being with the crowds made me very grateful that I had a nearly private experience.
David was amazing! His knowledge was deep. No questions went unanswered.
LOLA the best with introduction og Madrid and all the historical areas.
