Portuguese Tile Workshop

Fun for all skill levels. Agathe was a great teacher and patiently helped us. Love my tile. Would recommend to anyone.

The tiles we created turned out so great. Whether you think you are artistic or not, Agatha makes it easy to have a beautiful end result. I appreciate the small group setting that is very relaxing and easy to meet new people. This was the perfect way to end our trip from Lisbon and leave with the most meaningful souvenirs.

Great fun plus you get a personal souvenir that you can keep forever! Would recommend even if you aren’t artistic.

Good experience. Now I know how the patterns are made on tiles, but restriction on designing the patterns. I thought i could try free hand painting

Awesome experience! A great activity with some history. We made 2 tiles each. They ship them home for 50eu. So glad we did this!

We had a great time doing this tile workshop , was one of our favorite experiences in Lisbon. Instructor has impressive methods and tools (and suggestions) that made it easy to make unique designs, and high quality materials were provided. We all love the tiles we made. Nice that we could take the completed tiles with us as we left the next Lisbon morning.

This was a fantastic experience. Agatha is an accomplished artist and has created a process for everyone to be able to use her techniques and materials to design and make tiles that are stunning. At the end of the workshop you get to take away your piece. There were four of us and two other participants and all six of us had a great time working with Agatha. We were having so much fun that we ended up staying more than an hour past our schedled time, Agatha even gave us dinner recommendations and that turned out to be a fantastic place as well. Overall it was a great experience!! Highly recommended for anyone looking to learn a new craft and have fun.

10/10 would definitely recommend! This was a great experience and a built in souvenir to take home after the class. :) My husband and I had the best time, easy to follow instructions and so artistic! (But not in a “you have to be artistic to have fun” way) Side note: this is in an apartment building, we weren’t sure exactly where to go, but for next time, door 44 and press 2. :)

The owner was gracious enough to still do the workshop even though we thought our time was 30 minutes later. We attended with two teenage girls who enjoyed it as well. The instructions were quick and a little confusing, but only because we had to makeup time. Unfortunately, my tile did not print correctly despite several attempts, but I got to keep all the tiles anyway. I do not recommend this for children under 12. Our driver knew exactly where this was but it is a little tricky to find.

This was a great experience to do something with the family that we can bring home as memory and gift. I was with my kids (6-8), their grandparents, and a young couple. We were able to select the patterns and colors and saw the process that go from color paper to have pressed it on the tile.
