Lovely visit and informative tour. The audio guide was easy to follow and quite dense in information. Mari served us 3 port wines and explained them to us wonderfully. Great experience.

Great informative tour, and our server Antonio was very helpful providing my partner with gluten free options to accompany the port tasting. We learned a lot and had a great time, thankyou!
Very pleasant experience! The tour is very interesting and the guided tour via phone is extremely complete and explanatory! All the staff is very helpful and kind! For the final tasting I was served by Mr. Pedro Ribeiro. A very competent and professional guy, he gave a detailed explanation of the tastings, taking particular care in the presentation! Being served by him provides a complete, personalized and very in-depth experience of the products! Highly recommended!!!!
The tasting by Paulo Ramos was wonderful, and I enjoyed it with the standard set of 50-year-old Golden Age. I enjoyed it with an elaborate explanation that included his own recommendations. In contrast, the tour itself was a digital audio guide via smartphone, and the Japanese was particularly difficult to listen to because the audio cut off at every line break in the original text. Are other people writing this? There is no sense of hospitality at all, and the reception is mechanical.
We arrived at the time we had booked expecting a guided tour. Obviously this no longer happens. That wasn’t a problem as they gave us handsets to listen to the commentary. Unfortunately they also allow people to listen to the same audio on their phones. Again this shouldn’t be a problem but, various nationalities, mainly couples decided to share a phone and listen on speaker! This made it very difficult for us to listen and concentrate on all the information provided. Obviously not totally the fault of Taylors, and we mainly enjoyed visiting, especially the final tasting in a wonderful setting. We explained our concerns to reception after and they said that they would pass on our concerns. They should either insist on ear plugs when using their own phones or provide handsets for everyone. Overall enjoyable but maybe some of the other Port tours are better?
Excellent. Very well taken care of at the tasting by Antonio.
Wonderful. Recommended. THX Antonio.
We had a wonderful experience at Taylor’s Cellars, and a special mention goes to Paulo, who made the Port wine tasting truly enjoyable. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and explained the different Port wines in a clear and engaging way. His passion for the wines and the history behind them really came through, making the experience both informative and memorable. Thank you, Paulo, for such a fantastic tasting experience!
All round fabulous experience - Paulo is an absolute legend and definitely enhanced the experience.
We booked the tour with a subsequent wine tasting. The tour was interesting and worth the money. We also enjoyed the tasting afterwards. The advice from the waiter Paulo Ramos was very good.
