Wonderful experience in Porto, our guide, Isidro was a great guy and explained a lot of interesting facts to us. Very willing at all times
Beautiful City wish we would’ve spent more time in Porto would even maybe skip Lisbon to go to Porto nice tour enjoyable, walking for all ages easy to understand tour guide truly proud to live and work in Porto that love Imshowed up in his tour
Says it’s a free walking tour but then badger the people into giving them a tip. We always tip but don’t claim it’s free and then yell at people when they don’t tip. Completely unprofessional of a company to do this. I will never take a tour with them again.
Dear C3630O, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this feedback. We're truly sorry to read about your experience. It's really upsetting to hear that you left the tour feeling pressured, and we completely understand why that would leave a bad impression. We want to reassure you that tips are absolutely voluntary and completely optional. No one should ever feel uncomfortable or pressured into leaving one. We take what you've shared very seriously, and we'll be speaking with the guide about this. We care a great deal about the experience our guests have, and we're genuinely sorry that yours ended this way. Thank you again for letting us know. We really appreciate your honesty, and we're sorry we let you down. Best wishes, Ewelina
This tour was great! Our guide, Ines, was amazing! So passionate and knowledgeable. Her stories were entertaining and gave us such a feeling of connection to the city of Porto. She really went above and beyond. Thanks!
I went on a particularly interesting tour in Porto with our guide, Diana. She spoke in detail about the important sights in the city, showing at every step how knowledgeable she is in her field and how much passion she puts into what she does. I hope you get to meet her, too!
Arthur was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and made the history fun with his enthusiasm and antidotes.
Great tour telling us the history of Porto in an entertaining way. Diana was a great guide we are so glad we had her. She's hilarious and passionate we had a great time. She also touched on current life in Porto which really interested us.
It was a wonderfully informative walking tour with Artur, we learned a lot in the 2.5 hours , however we were very disappointed to find out that it is a “free” tour and the guide is paid only in tips….and we paid £3.50 each to tripadvisor having booked via them which we subsequently found out that this was unnecessary and the walk was gratis.
SANDEMANs has once again delivered an excellent service for new visitors. Our guide today, Diana, was a delight! Her passion for Porto was so obvious. She shared her detailed knowledge of the history of this colourful place with energy and humour. She tailored the information to suit the group’s interests and style, and she gave us heaps of extra information about life in this city. We had such an excellent time today, thanks to Diana, and we can’t wait to explore more of Porto with confidence.
Diogo is by far the best tour guide we had on our holiday. He is hilarious and extremely knowledgeable about the city life and history. Absolutely fantastic, highly recommend him!
