What a great tour !! A fantastic few hours with Thor learning all about the history of beer in Copenhagen. Great knowledge , very funny and some nice beers as well. We can highly recommend this tour 5*
The reviews for this tour were amazing and my sister and I were really excited to do it. Maybe our expectations were too high, but for us it was really disappointing. We learned very little about the area we were walking, we stopped at locations that he kept saying he didn't want to spend too much time there!! Maybe it was a bad day, or a new guid but it was such a waste of money to us. Based on the reviews maybe we would have been happier if we had Thor or Magnus.
What a hoot! The tour guide was welcoming, engaging, funny, and easygoing. The walk was easy and the beers and info were great. It wasn’t just a lecture, but a discussion with the whole group. Would do it again. We circled back to one of the stops, Warpigs, and highly recommend it for dinner! Awesome bbq and huge portions.
I really enjoyed this tour! It was a great way to discover a different side of Copenhagen, away from the usual city centre and tourist routes. I especially liked hearing about interesting stories and details from both Copenhagen’s past and modern life that you don’t usually hear on typical sightseeing tours. It was also really interesting to learn about the different breweries and Copenhagen’s beer culture. Thor was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience fun and engaging. What I loved most was the atmosphere — after the tour, almost everyone stayed at the bar to have a drink and keep chatting, and Thor stayed with us too. It felt less like a typical tour and more like spending an evening with a group of interesting people. Definitely recommend! 🍻
What a blast! Thor was not only very knowledgeable about the city and the beers that we tried, he was also hilarious! Be careful if you're easily offended.
Thor was our guide. It was a thoroughly entertaining and informative 2 hour tour. Great value for money. We recommend that people take this tour with Thor.
A great tour with hunorous stops and a good mix of beers. There's something for everyone and every taste some you will like some you don't. Thor was brilliant. I would definitely suggest having a drink with your group and Thor after. If you are easily shocked don't do it, it's politically incorrect!
Thor was an absolutely outstanding guide for the Politically Incorrect Beer Walk. From the moment the tour started, he set the tone with sharp humor, real historical insight, and the kind of storytelling that makes Copenhagen come alive. His delivery is quick, clever, and genuinely funny without ever feeling scripted. Not only does he know Copenhagen’s history inside and out, he clearly knows the stories, politics, and quirks of many other countries too even the individual states of the US. It’s impressive, and it shows in how effortlessly he connects local history with global context. Thor’s enthusiasm for this tour is unmistakable. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does every story, every joke, every historical aside comes with this infectious energy that pulls the whole group in. His mom can rest assured he’s out here “preaching” brilliantly and enjoying every minute of it. The pacing of the tour was perfect: plenty of time to enjoy each beer, ask questions, and take in the neighborhood. Thor kept the group engaged the entire time, balancing irreverence with real knowledge. He made everyone feel welcome, included, and comfortable. Thor gets five stars from us, and a great big “Bowl” to him for making the night unforgettable. If you’re in Copenhagen and want a tour that’s smart, hilarious, and refreshingly honest, Thor is the guide you want.
What a great way to see and hear about the city in a relaxed and fun way, while enjoying local beers. If you’re uptight or easily offended, this isn’t for you. The name of the tour is exactly that- “politically incorrect”. Our guide, Mangus, was a hoot and picked up on the nuances of our group quickly. This is a wonderful way to meet other people and just have fun!
Thor is a super guide who conveys his incredible knowledge to the group in a very charming and very funny way. Thanks Thor and we love the German Purity Law 🤘
