Great trip in Mardi Himal
I hereby express my huge gratitude to my trekking guide Sandeep, who did not only guide me through the whole trek in clear instructions and explanations, but also handle all the affairs in accommodations and meals. And he is a really nice and dedicated guy who kept sharing all he knows about Nepal. I also thank Harka for good communications on the affairs before and after the trip. They make this trip so wonderful and memorable!

This is how to have a safe and fun adventure
My daughter and I trekked 10-11 days traveling from Kathmandu up to 17,700’ on the Annapurna circuit. Our guide and porter were exceptional people, travel companions and co-conspirators in our adventure. Each day was a joy, the food delicious, and our trek safe. While we met many others THESE were the guys to do it with. We are going to head back and explore more. With them. I strongly urge anyone contemplating Nepal to do themselves a favor and contact them first. The value for money, joy and adventure is hard to beat.

Mardi Himal stole my heart!!!
I went to the Mardi Himal track with guide Jay. Since it was out of season I was alone with a guide. It's been the craziest journey of my life. I'd never gone camping, so I chose not to wear sophisticated gear. Without a guide, I wouldn't have gone because I don't know forests and mountains. The hangover wouldn't be very easy, but it's not even prepared. The arrangements were excellent, I chose the full package, and the accommodation and food (except for drinks), on the way back there was a road repair and we will continue on foot, which was very cool and interesting. The guide helped me, especially with breathing and speed and it made it very easy for me to lift. The climb to the 4200 was very heavy, but it was worth all the challenges. It's an incredible sight that opens up to your eyes. I highly recommend this company, ordered 1.5 months in advance, prepaid 10% and prepared for the trip. If I decide to go to Nepal again, I will definitely choose this company. Thank you for that emotion.

Good trekking company
Good trekking company. Reliable, on time, respond quickly. We had an excellent time with our guide Milan and porter Bisal. Both were very friendly and helpfull. We played many games together after each day of hiking.

Excellent Company and Trek for First Time Visitor
First time in Nepal and my Nepali friend recommended this company. My guide Ramesh was amazing. I ended up being the only one in my group, but it was still great. Ramesh was very accommodating and allowed us to be flexible and join other trekking groups. Weather was somewhat cloudy but he knew when and where to be to get us the best views. We were able to stay out of the rain and wait out for the best views. I highly recommend booking with this company, as it was affordable but had excellent service. The hike was a lot of ascent but had great views and very different scenery. Overall excellent experience and felt that everything was considered, especially since it’s my first time in Nepal and I was on a tight schedule.

Memorable Trek in the Himalayas with Himalaya Trip
We recently went on a 4-day Mardi Himal trek in the Himalayas through Himalaya Trip, and overall, it was a great experience. They arranged everything for us, which made the trip very convenient. However, I feel the guide could have been a bit more attentive to details to enhance the experience further.
Lodging
Lodges along the trail are simple but functional, typically costing 500 rupees per night if you're trekking on your own. They don't have heating, and the higher-altitude ones, like High Camp, may lack hot water or even running water. Since we went in December, it was quite cold at night, but we stayed warm by bundling up with the plentiful blankets provided (it helped that it was low season). If you're trekking during high season, I’d recommend bringing a sleeping bag for extra warmth.
Wi-Fi and phone charging are available at most lodges but come at a small cost—usually around 150-300 rupees.
Water Tips
The trek did not include water, so planning ahead is essential. At lower altitudes, bottled water costs about 20 rupees for a liter. Higher up, bottled water isn't sold, but you can buy boiled filtered water for 150–200 rupees per liter. Bring a water bottle or bladder that can carry at least 3 liters and enough cash for water.
Food
Lodges along the trek offer a mix of Nepali and Western food, so you’ll have options. We especially enjoyed trying the local teas, Tibetan bread, and dal bhat thalis. In Pokhara, the variety of food available makes it easy to find something you like.
Transportation
The company arranged our flights to Pokhara and made everything seamless. If you're on a budget, buses are available for about $10 one way, but we opted for the 25-minute flight ($100 one way) to save time. Once in Pokhara, the guide picked us up and took care of our transportation to the hotel and trek starting point.
The Trek
The trek itself was challenging but stunning. We covered about 27 miles round trip with a 10,000-foot elevation gain, reaching a maximum altitude of 4,500m. Each day involved about 1,000m of climbing, but the well-maintained trails and breathtaking views made it worth the effort.
Packing Tips
Some must-haves for the trek:
A flashlight
Toilet paper or napkins
Cash for water, Wi-Fi, and charging
A sleeping bag if trekking during high season
Spikes were provided by our guide, but they weren't necessary during our December trek. If you visit in February, however, be prepared for snow.
Overall
The trek was incredible, and Himalaya Trip made the logistics easy, from arranging flights to providing spikes and guidance. While there’s room for improvement with the guide's attentiveness, the beauty of the Himalayas and the organization of the trip made this a memorable experience.
Would I recommend them? Yes, especially if you're looking for a hassle-free way to trek the Himalayas. Just make sure you clarify what’s included in the package (e.g., nights in Pokhara) and pack wisely for the season!

4 day Mardi Himal - go with Himalaya Trip and you'll be well taken care of!
This review is alittle overdue but definitely coming here to highly recommend Himalaya Trip. My friend and I were very well taken care of during our 4day Mardi Himal trek with porter guide Umesh. His positivity and energy made the trip fun and memorable, despite the cloudy weather we had on the entire trip. Harka was really nice as well, meeting with us at our hotel in Kathmandu to give us a pre-hike briefing and even brought us to a shop to get some of our hiking gear. Really appreciate the hospitality of both Harka and Umesh, two thumbs up for Himalaya Trip!
