Capacity -8 Guests Max, 4 Guests per Jeep (two Jeeps) -Jeeps can fill up and can be cramped for some people. We do offer private tours for 1-3 people. Select 1 traveler and purchase 1 ticket. Duration -3-3.25 Hours Ages -1 yrs and older The Tour -Scenic drive up Pikes Peak Highway. We make several stops for pictures. Our guides share history and folklore of the mountain and also get to know our guests. Once at the summit, we walk with you showing you the interesting sites. We leave you to explore the summit before returning to the Jeep. Not recommended for people with heart conditions or serious medical issues.

Quick stop at Crystal Reservior for pics and point out interesting things.
The Summit Complex has great views through a large glass window, but also a platform that nearly encircles the whole thing. Have some world famous donuts! Drinks, food, and souvenirs are here as well. This is a newly built complex that replaces the old Summit House.
Glen Cove is an old building, once a place for people to sleep, but now a gift shop. It has some great views of the mountains that you'll see more of on the way up.
Bottomless Pit is an interesting part of the mountain. A near shear drop off. One of our favorite places for pictures.

We absolutely loved our Pikes Peak tour! James was so informativie about the history of Pikes Peak and the nature of the area. Getting to relax in the Jeep and take in all the views instead of concentrating on driving was invaluable. James also gave us recommendations of places to dine or visit in town and we enjoyed everything he recommended. Highly recommend this tour it is well worth the money!

We had a wonderful tour with John today. He was fantastic and of course the mountain was breathtaking. Highly recommend. We had a little problem finding the parking lot and called and James stayed on the phone with us to make sure we got there ok. Great experience from both James and a John.

Great experience. James was very knowledgeable about not only Pike's Peak, including interesting stories/ happenings, the Native Americans, the other mountain ranges, wildlife, local ecology, cripple creek mine and the area reservoirs. Gave us lots of opportunities to get out and take photos at all the right places.

Our 3-hour Pikes Peak tour was absolutely amazing, and our guide, Bree, made the experience unforgettable! From the moment we met her in the parking lot, she made us feel completely relaxed and right at home. We ended up getting incredibly lucky—we were the only two people on what could have been a four-person tour, so we had the entire back seat of the Jeep to ourselves. Riding several miles with the top down while taking in the breathtaking scenery was an incredible experience. Our first attempt at experiencing Pikes Peak was on the Cog Railway, and while the train ride was a fun experience, it just didn't compare to driving up the mountain. The drive along the Pikes Peak Highway, navigating the incredible switchbacks and stopping to take in the spectacular views, was absolutely amazing and well worth a second trip. This time, we finally made it all the way to the summit, and it was an experience we'll never forget. Bree was friendly, knowledgeable, and so easy to talk to. We had great conversations throughout the tour, and by the end it felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend rather than just our tour guide. She shared fascinating facts and interesting stories about Pikes Peak and the surrounding area that made the drive even more enjoyable. Seeing the bighorn sheep on the mountain was definitely one of the highlights! This was an outstanding experience from start to finish. We highly recommend this tour, and if you have the chance, definitely request Bree as your guide. She truly made an already beautiful adventure even more memorable. If you're trying to decide between the Cog Railway and a guided Jeep tour, we can honestly say the drive up the mountain offers a much more immersive and memorable way to experience Pikes Peak.

This tour is a must if you are going to the summit of Pikes Peak! Our guide, James, was a delight. He shared so much information: geological facts, environmental info, pointing out other peaks and the different trees as we climbed. He even had some local ghosts stories and Big Foot lore. We experienced a thunderstorm just as we reached the summit and James quickly got us safely into the Visitors Center until it passed. He also took photos of my husband and me at several different locations.Of course, you can drive yourself to the top of America's Mountain but you would miss so much! Just do it, you won't be sorry.

This is such a great deal to see such a beautiful landmark. Bree was so nice, knowledgeable, the best driver, talkative, private, and interactive. Having someone drive for you or you can see everything it was so nice ,guess that's what you do on vacation. This option is much better than catching the cog train.
