Description

This is a private tour for 1 - 8 passengers at one price. After you're picked up from your hotel, make your way to Patong Beach—one of the most popular beaches in the area. Take in the view of blonde sands framed by turquoise waters and framatic rock formations just offshore. From there, continue to Karon Viewpoint, where you can enjoy panoramic views of 3 beaches—Kata, Kata Noi, and Karon. Make your way to the neighboring Wat Chalong, one of the most venerated temples in Phuket. A further stop will be made so you can admire the magnificence of the island's Big Buddha. Lastly, head back to Phuket Town. Pop into a cashew factory to taste and shop for nutty souvenirs, and then cruise through the streets to admire the well-preserved and historic Sino-Portuguese architecture of the city. Your outing ends at the Gems Gallery, where you can opt to stay and shop before hopping back to your Hotel.

Very nice tour of the highlights of Phuket. Went to the Big Buddha, Wat Chalong, the cashew factory, Karon viewpoint and Old Phuket Town. Our guide was very helpful and knowledgable. Thank you for showing us your island!

Funny day

We had a great time on this private tour. Our guide Adhar (hope I’m spelling that correctly) was sooo funny and great!! We loved the karon viewpoint and the big Buddha. Please note this is a whole day trip (8.5 hours inc. transfers) not 5 hours as advertised. You only get bottle water. Drinks can be bought at sights. You are invited to attend a small cafe in old town which you pay extra for. We didn’t like that at the gem store they try pressure you to buy even though the prices are very very expensive. Nothing under £400. Also note, you don’t actually visit any of the beaches on this tour you can only see them from the viewpoint!

Operator response

Dear Hollyjad, Thanks for the review and thanks for booking with us! As this is a private tour we have never rushed the guests and the tour usually takes less time than you experienced. For the gem factory this is only optional as we do understand you may want to go in but we do mention this on the website. Thanks again, Nick

Great except for a hiccup

We decided to eliminate from the itinerary the cashew factory and the cape on the south to shorten the tour but I told the guide I wanted to visit the Jui tui Chinese shrine, he took me to one and he said that was the jui tui I didn’t think it was as pretty as the ones I saw online. When I got to the ship I saw online that it was not the Jui tui temple but the Put Jaw shrine the oldest but more modest shrine. Because of this I have them 4 stars.

Operator response

Dear Ivi, Thanks for the review. As you booked a private tour, of course we can change the itinerary around where possible. Maybe the guide was confused with the temple or shrine? Please show the google maps as on Phuket we have 100s of shrines! Regards, Nick

What a shame I can give only 5 STARS

I just returned from a 10-day holiday in Phuket. On arrival I was greeted by ground staff and within minutes the private car arrived for the transport to the hotel in Patong. The next day I did meet Tipp the manager of the business to discuss the transport the previous day and any additional tours I was interested in. I had a minor complaint about the driver and the complaint was handled in a very professional manner by Tipp. I was interested in viewing several temples, statues and beaches at the southern end of Phuket and also Phuket Old Town (several famous movies, including "Good Morning Vietnam" were shot there). Whenever I did see something interesting the driver 'Pon' stopped the car to allow me to take photos. Pon was the best tour guide / driver I have ever had. He was full of knowledge about the island, beaches, history and Buddhism. Booking the car for myself certainly was worth paying a little extra. On my departure day the car arrived on time and took me to the airport without any incidents or delay. Thank you to Tipp and Pon for making my holiday in Phuket unforgettable. You deserve 5 stars and I will contact you when I plan my next trip to Thailand. fips52
