Be very careful when hoping off that you know how to reconnect, I couldn't the bus again and all viator ( the number on the brochure) could do was try to sell another ticket.
I am sorry to hear that you experienced difficulties reboarding the bus. Our buses operate on a continuous loop throughout the day, so I am unsure why you encountered issues at the stop where you disembarked. If you had contacted the Perth Explorer office, we would have been happy to assist you. Our contact number is located on the brochure the driver provided when you boarded. Please note that Viator only sells tickets and does not operate the tour. Perth Explorer runs the tours directly, and we could have helped had you called our office.
It was an average tour. The bus driver wasn’t the friendliest. The earphones stopped working a lot. Skipped the blue boat house which was disappointing. Didn’t feel like full piece should have been paid
I am sorry to hear that you experienced problems with your earphones during your recent tour. Our driver would have been happy to help you had you asked, as all the other passengers on the bus managed to get theirs working properly. The Blue Boat House stop is currently out of use due to road closures in Kings Park, which is unfortunately totally out of our control. However, this disruption is mentioned on our website, on the other bus stops within the Park, and there is also a notice on each bus as you board.
Best way to see the city and helped me to plan my outings . I was able to see the beautiful city in one go. It was brilliant
Thank you for the 5* review. We’re so glad our tour was the perfect way for you to see the city and plan your adventures. We love to show off our beautiful city.
Very weather dependant. The rooftop is extremely cold and windy in winter. If I'd known the cat bus was free I would have just taken that instead. The earphones and plug in audiobook style experience is ok but I wouldn't pay this price for it.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We're sorry the winter wind caught you off guard on the top deck! You could have sat in the enclosed lower deck which is popular on chilly days. The CAT buses are designed as regular public commuter transit—meaning they don't give you any commentary, they require you to change between different coloured routes to see different parts of the city, and they only skirt the edges of Kings Park rather than driving through it like we do. Our tour is designed specifically for visitors, offering a continuous, narrated loop that takes you right into the heart of the park and top sights without the hassle of transfers.
Excellent service. Always on time. A lovely city. The Perth mint is definitely somewhere you should visit if your here.
Great way to see the city and surrounds for first time visitors.
Sunscreen get very hot and you burn. Fans if it's a bit cloudy and may feel a bit cold
Excellent drivers. Cleanly understood the recorded informative information about Perth. Nice easy way to get around and see Kings Park etc. No worries about car parking in unfamiliar places.
It’s was a rainy day when I went on this trip so couldn’t sit in my favourite spot upstairs at the front. For the most part it was an enjoyable and informative experience. However at one stop a large family got on the bus I think to escape the rain as none of them plugged in their ear phones but the daughter had 2 phones one playing music and the other a program with no headphones. After 5 minutes of not being to hear the commentary I aked the mother to ask her daughter to turn them down. Both parents apologised and told her off but nothing changed. I got off at the next stop.
My first time to Perth and what better way to explore the city than a hop on hop off bus. Just the right amount of info to peak your interest and the ability to get off at a stop that took our fancy was awesome. Would highly recommend!
