Description
Leave the busy Rome city to fall in love with the slow and the beauty life of locals in Frascati, the City of Wine.
Your day begins with a beautiful train ride to Frascati from Rome, during which you can admire the beauty of the countryside of Rome.
We will pick you up at the Frascati Station and show you all the amazing corners in town.
Then it will be time to reach our old wine cellar, where our family started with wine production.
Sip two types of our family’s best wines pairing with local meats and cheese.
Next all the necessary for making pasta will be ready, so it will be your turn to get your hands dirty. Wearing apron and mixing all the ingredients together while drinking wine you’ll turned up with your own handcrafted pasta.
So it will be magical to see what happened, your pasta will be cooked with your favourite Roman Sauce and that’s it! You’ll be ready to enjoy your own pasta sipping wine and relaxing.

You must do this!!!!
We ended up making the best pasta we've ever tasted. I'm a convert; homemade is so much better.
Met on time by Simone who turned out to be the perfect blend of local historian, wine tutor and great cook.
The 2 hours + flew by. Great family wines, best carbonara ever in the company of 12 other enthusiastic would be pasta chefs. Bargain!!

Frascati pasta making! So fun!
What a fun tour- traveled by train 2 stops from Rome to Frascati. A beautiful small town to a family shop to taste their wine and make pasta. Great atmosphere and fun, laughs and a good time. Loved it!

The best activity!
We did several tours during our stay in Italy, and this was by far the most fun! Our table was small enough that we ended up making friends with our fellow pasta makers. Delicious wine at super affordable prices too. Frascati is a fun little break from the crazy amounts of tourists in Rome too.

Unique wine + pasta making outing
This was a great outside of Rome experience. There were a lot of cooking classes- honestly on every corner in Rome and we wanted something unique. This delivered on everything. Things to know:
- Frascati is outside of Rome. A 30 min train ride from termini. But it’s so worth it. You’ll get beautiful views of the city from one of the 7 hills that surround it.
- you’ll have to climb 100 steps when you get off the train then a hill. But then you get to go down after! 😂
- the pasta turns out delicious!! Everyone loved their food- and several others had done classes in other places where the pasta didn’t turn out well.
- a good amount of the event is about the wine their family makes. They tell you about it, let you taste it, then offer it for purchase.
- there’s time after to see the town and get gelato before the train back to the city.
- the views from the town of Rome are spectacular

Amazing Experience
We booked this class as a group of friends travelling with not knowing what to expect. We had an absolutely amazing time! The experience was well worth what we paid for. We had an absolutely small tour of the town with information provided to us by our amazing guide Rose. She truly made the experience. The wine and pasta we made was the best we had ever tasted. If you’re thinking about booking this absolutely do it!
