Although the actual experience was nice, it was difficult to know exactly where to go to start with.
While we fully understand that the Batobus service is limited due to the rising waters of the Seine (and the rate is adjusted accordingly), we will never accept the disrespect we have been subjected to. The experience was ruined by an incredibly rude attitude on the part of a staff member. Due to the changes of route, I tried to clarify the operation of the stops (the direct transition between the Musée d'Orsay and the Louvre). When I tried to calmly explain my misunderstanding, the staff member yelled at me saying that I was "deaf" and had not listened to him. He then turned his back on me and closed the door in front of me. Such aggressiveness and blatant unprofessionalism are simply unacceptable in the tourism sector. A very disappointing experience that taints the memory of our stay in Paris.

We spent the day going up and down the Sien River on the Batobus. It was a 10/10! I was nervous at first that I couldn’t figure it out but it was incredibly user friendly. The stops are clearly marked and you can google map each one of them. Way way better and cheaper than the on and off bus. I would recommend it for people that love to walk the city and cruise down the river. The views from the boat are spectacular.

The hop on hop off boat was great - getting the tickets was extremely inconvenient. We were sent a voucher - not a ticket- that had to be redeemed by either printing the voucher or scanning a bar code. When you are traveling and only have access to a phone and can't always connect to wifi, this is extremely inconvenient and we were not able to access tickets. Batobus staff was very helpful but they could not access the tickets either. All the Helpline chat did was resend the voucher and could not help and further. We wasted one hour before we finally accessed tickets via a restaurant's wifi and using an additional phone for scanning a QR code. Very frustrating and unnecessary- just buy tickets at batobus kiosk on site and save yourself this aggravation

Viator might not email you an actual voucher and you will be stuck losing your money when you decide to purchase it yourself at the Botabus ticket window at most locations as I suggest you do. There is no guide or audio offered on the Botabus hence the 3rd party audio tour included with this which I found to be a colossal waste of money. Botabus and Viator do not talk to each other well and like most of these experiences… if it goes sideways, you are left out hanging on your own. Other than the logistical failure by Viator, the boat is ok. Hard wooden seats, covered glass and nice boat ride down the river.

Got there and had trouble downloading tickets. Was told at the counter to phone aviator to deal with it. Phone number didn’t even work. Took us over 30 minutes to get it sorted and it was a nice person opening and closing the gate to board that helped us. No help from victor to deal with it.

The boat was fun and nice. Trading our vouchers for tickets was difficult. The Batobus people tried to be helpful
The actual Batobus was great. Viator did send us a voucher but the tickets did not arrive so when we went we had to pay again and so far Viator have NOT refunded the original price of the tickets.
