So many great desserts! We really enjoyed the desserts and learning about the city. It was educational and delicious!
Thank you for choosing to explore with us! We hope you enjoyed the food, the company, and the chance to see a few places outside the usual route. We’d love to have you back.
We got to try 10 sweets typical of Paris--it was great. My daughter and I split many of the treats and could not make it thru the last one. 9 out of ten were really good, but 5 were incredible. Great guide with good energy. Recommend for anyone who likes chocolate and sweets.
Thank you for spending part of your time in the city with us. We’re glad Secret Food Tours could give you a different way to experience it. We hope to welcome you again!
Etienne was great. Tried a lot of pastries and gave a lot of recommendations. Loved it!
Thank you for making time for us! Sharing local food, neighborhoods, and the stories behind them is what Secret Food Tours is all about. We hope to see you again.
I was sent on the wrong tour. I purchased the Montmarte tour (confirmed with my itinerary) and was sent the pick up information and sent on the saint Germain tour. BOTH the tour operator and tour guide acknowledge I was sent on the wrong tour. They still will not apologize or refund me a single cent. Now I will have to dispute this with my bank for the full amount. Taking accountability is a huge part of business and it’s really shameful that when I gave them the chance to resolve this directly and for a mere apology and partial refund they only offered another tour… they couldn’t even say sorry. They also lied to Viator and said that I booked the saint Germain tour when I have an acknowledgment of their error and evidence in screenshots and screen recordings. I wanted to tour Montmarte. Shame on these people.
Hi Michaela, thank you for sharing your experience. After reviewing your booking, we can confirm that your reservation was for our Saint Germain Sweet Food Tour, which is the experience that was attended, rather than a booking for our Montmartre food tour. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify this, as we always want our guests to have accurate information about their booking. Thank you again for sharing your perspective, and we hope you'll consider joining us again in the future to experience another of our Paris food tours.
Lots of walking, tour guide was very knowledgable, however, the tour focused more on local culture and architecture than actual history of bakeries and chocolate places. Was also supposed to get ice cream and did not, which disappointed children.
Every guest experiences the city a little differently. We're pleased Secret Food Tours could be part of yours. We look forward to seeing you again!
Great foods, excellent guide. Would highly recommend! Was quite a bit of walking, but it helps burn off the calories from eating so many good treats!
Thank you for your 5-star review. Secret Food Tours is built around sharing the places that matter most to us, and we're glad that came through. We look forward to seeing you again!
The tastings were small portions, and some were very interesting in flavor that were just okay. It wasn't what we thought the tour would be. We thought the servings would be larger and that there would be more chocolate, and more variety, and the sourdough bread we tasted was burnt on the outside crust and tasted burnt. It also went long so we were glad we hadn't booked another tour after this one. The tour guide, Etienne, was very nice and he did a great job.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know how the tour came across from your perspective, and we're glad to hear that Etienne made a positive impression throughout your experience. Our food tours are thoughtfully curated to showcase the local food scene, with each tasting carefully selected to introduce guests to a range of flavors and traditions. The portions are also intentionally spaced throughout the experience to ensure everyone can comfortably enjoy each stop without feeling too full midway through the tour. That said, we understand that expectations around portion sizes and the overall variety can differ, and we appreciate you sharing this feedback as we continue to refine the experience for future guests. We hope you'll consider joining us again on another Secret Food Tour in the future. We'd love the opportunity to welcome you back and introduce you to a different side of the local culinary scene. Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you safe and happy travels!

What a delicious tour! The variety of desserts was perfect. Our tour guide, Lynn, was knowledgeable, very polite and held great conversation. Who knew the macaron didn’t originate in France?!
Thank you for making us part of your travels! The city will always have more to discover, and we'd be happy to explore another corner of it with you one day. We hope to welcome you back to Secret Food Tours.
It’s a long walk but definitely worth it! We went to different sweet stores to try the taste of Paris - from chocolates, cookies, to macaroons. Our guide, Zara, is very kind and entertaining as she shares the history and trivia of each sweets and place. Would love to try again this next time!
