Paris at the First Lodges - Ducasse sur Seine dinner cruise

Description
Let yourself be guided over dinner aboard the first 100% electric boat on the Seine. Your table will allow you to enjoy the most beautiful view of the monuments of Paris. A pleasant and silent journey to rediscover the capital, falsely asleep at night, and finish at the foot of the illuminated Eiffel Tower. At the table, the story unfolds like a scenario, in several acts, punctuated by the cuisine of chef Pierre Marty.

Terrible 😞 a disastrous meal and service! How can Ducasse, whom we enjoyed in Monaco, be so unconcerned about the use of his name (!). And the staff's attitude, right up to the manager, was not professional at all. Avoid, unless you want to feel like a tourist being ripped off with a nice view of the Eiffel Tower.
I had had very good experiences at other Alain Ducasse restaurants, so I arrived with high expectations. Unfortunately, Ducasse sur Seine was a great disappointment. The food seemed acceptable to me, but far from the level I expected from the brand. The portions are very small and, overall, the proposal feels more pretentious than truly outstanding in flavor or execution. The value for money did not convince me. With the enormous gastronomic offer in Paris, I would not return and would not recommend it.
Not so easy to pull off a quality dinner on a cruise boat! Well done to the entire team at Ducasse sur Seine because it was a real success! We can never thank enough for the work done for a quality service, so thank you! Kudos to everyone from the waitress to the cook and the crew members.
Cruise boat was lovely, staff professional in actions and appearance, cruise itself was very nice with beautiful scenery. But, when it came to the food and cost of extras, not so nice. The menu sounded great, but when you are told you are getting chilled crab with caviar, you don't expect a 2 inch pile of pureed crab with small edible flowers placed on it. When you are ordering blue lobster from their coast, you are expecting something more than 4 small pieces the size of quarters with a half chunk of fennel and sauces poured over it. The rest of the menu was also a little questionable. Don't get me wrong, we knew coming in that it would be a specialty meal with something quite unique, but the verbiage was very misleading. The worst of all was the cost we paid for 1 glass (half full) of wine, and 1 glass (half full) of champagne. The bill was 78.00 euros!!!!! That means we paid $90.58 for 2 half full glasses of bubbly. We thought they charged us for bottles but soon found out that wasn't the case. We were of course also charged for the water and 1 cup of coffee. That was reasonable enough. So be ware, when booking this cruise exactly what your costs are for all extras before you order them. The cost of this cruise did not include any beverages.
An unforgettable evening, cruise along the seine and exquisite dinner. The place, that is the ship, is luxurious, spacious, comfortable, with good views of Paris, eiffel tower, ... Exceptional The dinner itself very correct, a professional service. Very rich dishes, very well sealed. Wine list and champagnes very very correct. It's not cheap but it's high-end broths. Highly highly recommended
We were warmly greeted on arrival and shown to our table by the Maitre D. Quickly followed by the Sommelier and our waiter so champagne and canapés arrived for us to enjoy whilst we looked across at the Eiffel Tower on the opposite bank of the river. The boat is all glass so views of the city sights are superb. We chose the 4 course menu, there was also an amuse bouche, which was more than adequate. The food and wine were delicious, service was very attentive but not intrusive. You can wander onto the outside deck whenever you want. To see the sights lit up was an amazing experience, especially the Eiffel Tower. The sommelier very kindly ordered us a taxi to meet us when the boat returned at 10 30pm. We disembarked at this time but lots of people stayed on and some were still having dessert. There didn’t seem to be any rush. We had a simply wonderful evening and would definitely recommend that you book with this company.
We went on a dinner cruise one Saturday night. We opted for the 5 courses food and wine pairing. We received a very warm welcome on the boat from the host which was nice and the views from the boat pre departure of the Eiffel Tower were incredible- we watched it sparkle at 8pm. I think it’s fairly to say our table wasn’t the best we were in the dock side of the boat and my husband had a wonderful view of the corridor but the window views were good when we got going! The food and the wine pairing were excellent my favourite was the foie gras and pate! I attach some photos! I think my advice would be to choose wisely as my husband made some strange choices and didn’t enjoy his meal as much as me! The bread was also very delicious! The service was very good although it didn’t feel as though we had a dedicated waiter/waitress and there was one member of staff who was clearly very new and inexperienced and was left a little unsupervised for my liking! The boat is lovely very high spec and the electric motor is so quiet it feels like a luxury cruise vessel. All in all we loved it a real special treat. Final note: The cobbles on the quayside are very uneven so ladies just have a think about what you wear on your feet!
To put it right in front, we have already eaten very well at Alain Ducasse's in other cities. It only refers to the Seine Dinner Tour. We had been assigned a table that was not at the window area, which is complete bullshit on such a cruise. Since you could not book a table position in advance, I assumed of course that all the table are placed at the window area. Not at all. You sit nicely in the middle and you can't see anything “We could go out for a photo”, as you sit further away from the windows and see only light reflections. Sure, at 9 degrees, it's really fun. The food was absolutely not fine dining compared to other places here. Sauces generally too watery. The dough in the pate tasted old. Dishes relatively without any taste and in the menu sequence without voting. The olive ice cream with far too much olive oil on top was then the non-crowning conclusion. What excited me most was the lack of service. The entire crew urgently needs training. We are talking about a restaurant that wants to have 450€ for this tour. We had to wait over half an hour for the first drink. The sauces were poured onto the plate completely unlovingly, as in a bad cafeteria. (You could see that they had already partially attached skin) It was just asked “finished?” Whether it was good or similar nobody cared. No refilling of wine and water. More bread could not be obtained, despite multiple demands. On the boat, many then use the only two toilets during the tour. Being fobbed off with the comment “we’ll be back soon” was not helpful in influencing the review positively. There are considerably better ways to eat really well, for less money. This Seine tour is absolutely NOT recommended.
The experience is very nice, the welcome on the very nice boat is perfect. We had the menu at 500 Euros. The wines offered were of high quality. On the other hand, the dishes (even if they were very good) did not correspond to a gourmet restaurant of this level. So it was good, but the value for money was not there at all
A very successful and special evening on the Ducasse sur Seine. We exclusively had the upper deck restaurant area for our group of 8, which gave it a very private and elegant atmosphere. The service was always attentive, warm and professional. The evening also convinced culinary delights: very good food, beautifully presented and tastefully high. Add to this the beautiful river cruise through Paris, which makes the evening a real experience. Overall a very stylish combination of dinner and Seine ride – highly recommended.
