I would like to share my unforgettable experience of paragliding, organized by SkyClub. It was not simply a flight — it became a truly special journey into a feeling of freedom, trust, and faith in people. The flight was a gift from my students for my 50th birthday. I had been dreaming about flying on a paraglider for many years, and this wonderful gift finally made my dream come true. I am incredibly grateful to them for that! A very special thank you goes to my instructor, Sergey — such a charming, kind, and wonderful person, as well as a true professional. I felt completely comfortable and safe with him. Perhaps one of the strongest impressions for me was the feeling of complete trust in the person you are flying with. You entrust your life to someone you have only just met, and somehow this experience brings back your faith in people — in their kindness, sincerity, purity, and genuine care. When I was asked what the flight gave me, I realized that it gave me so much. First of all, it gave me an incredible feeling of freedom. Freedom from the ground, from everyday worries and routine thoughts. Just you, the sky, the wind, and the breathtaking beauty all around you. We had a wonderful time even before the flight itself. We were comfortably driven to the launch site, and the waiting time passed so quickly and pleasantly. I could simply lie on the grass and look at Lake Sevan, watching it change its color depending on the wind and the light. And especially beautiful was the sky, where one paraglider after another took off — dozens of them, in all different colors. Young, future paragliders were training there, and it was fascinating to watch them learning to conquer the sky. Thank you so much to the entire SkyClub team for such a beautifully organized experience, for your care, professionalism, and, most importantly, for giving me such indescribable pleasure! And to my students — a very special and heartfelt thank you for giving me not just a flight, but the fulfillment of a dream I had carried in my heart for many years. Sevan
Fly tour begins with a prior reservation. Pilot-instructor pre-checks weather conditions and suggests possible time and place of the flight. The day begins with a meeting with the pilot in Yerevan (Hostel Glide - Kalents str. 16/1). Further, a pilot and the passengers seat in a comfortable transport and start a trip to the launch place (Aparan, Lake Sevan, Buzhakan, Mt. Atis, Haghartsin, Yeghvard, Garni or Vedi). After getting to the launch place, which is situated at an altitude of 2000 to 2800 m above sea level, the pilot gives the necessary explanations for a good takeoff and landing. Afterwards, they both wear the harnesses and helmets and start the flight. The rules are simple - the pilot lifts the glider off the ground and all the passenger has to do is try to run forward without sitting or jumping. The passengers should be in a sportswear. It is desirable to have sunglasses, hat, sunscreen and a good mood.

Best experience in Armenia
This activity takes place right by Lake Sevan. You can peacefully admire the lake, feel the breeze, and then jump right off to enjoy stunning views from the air! I never thought I would get to try an experience like this in Armenia. Highly recommended!

Operator no-show and refund still not received
Very disappointing experience. I booked a paragliding activity through Viator/Tripadvisor for 6:00 AM and arrived at the meeting point at 5:30 AM. I waited until 6:45 AM, but no one showed up. I tried contacting the operator through calls and messages, but no one answered. The activity was never provided, my morning plans were completely disrupted, and despite submitting proof and requesting a refund, I still haven’t received my money back. Very frustrating and unprofessional experience.

Spectacular!
While I wasn’t thrilled about the requirement to meet at 4:15 am, this experience was well worth it! Paragliding next to Mount Ararat was truly a once in a lifetime experience. The hospitable, expert staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. The paragliding was nothing short of a dream come true!
