Pallay Punchu Mountain Full-Day Private Tour

Your private Pallay Punchu tour begins with pickup from your hotel or accommodation in Cusco at 4:00 a.m. in a private vehicle. Enjoy a scenic drive of approximately 1.5 hours to Cusipata, where we’ll stop for breakfast and a restroom break before continuing our journey to Pallay Punchu Rainbow Mountain.

After breakfast, we’ll travel farther into the southern Andes, passing through Sicuani and the picturesque town of Layo on our way to Pallay Punchu for 2 hours approximately. Along the route, you’ll enjoy impressive mountain scenery and views of the rural Andean landscape until we reach the trailhead. Once there, we’ll prepare for the hike and meet our local guide, who will explain the route, share important safety tips, and introduce you to the highlights of this unique mountain adventure before we begin walking.

We’ll start with an uphill hike of approximately 40 minutes to reach the first viewpoint, where you can admire Pallay Punchu’s striking colors and capture stunning photos. After a short break, we’ll continue to the second viewpoint and then make our way to the highest lookout, offering spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding Andes and the beautiful Langui Lagoon. Once we’ve enjoyed the scenery, we’ll descend to the vehicle pickup point and travel for approximately 2 hours to a local restaurant. There, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch and have around 15 minutes to relax before we begin our return journey to Cusco.

After lunch, we’ll begin our journey back to Cusco, with an estimated travel time of 1.5 hours, depending on traffic conditions as we approach the city. At the end of the tour, we’ll drop you off at your hotel or at your original pickup location, bringing your private Pallay Punchu adventure to a comfortable and convenient conclusion
