Good tour to take to understand how the mafia works.
Hello,
The tour is interesting and provides a lot of information about the mafia and the no-mafia movement. We walk a little and the tour helps us get our bearings in the historic center of Palermo. However, we did not visit any structures and made 5 stops in front of or behind buildings. I would have liked to walk a little more in the streets with some info about Palermo at the same time. Interesting and well-informed guide.
Operator response
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re pleased that you found the guide knowledgeable and the tour informative. This experience is specifically focused on the history of the Mafia and the No Mafia movement in Palermo, with stops at significant locations connected to this history rather than visits inside buildings. We appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective.

Small group only 11 of us.

A must-see tour in Palermo
Our guide, Salvatore, was amazing. He was so well informed, passionate, and professional. He’s a local, but his English was impeccable, and he was so easy to understand. We learned so much that we had no idea about when it comes to the mafia.

Very interesting experience for us adults but also for our sixteen-year-old children. Francesca impeccable: precise, prepared, passionate. Highly recommended!

The tour was wonderful....
The tour was wonderful. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions that the group had. Be aware that there is a lot of walking, however there are places to sit and listen as the tour continues. I would recommend for everyone.

Essential Palermo experience.
Sylvia was an excellent guide! I highly recommend the tour as it helped me dig deeper into the culture of Palermo. I walked away with a great appreciation for the history of the city, the mind of the community and how important free speech continues to be. Great experience.
