The tour does involve...
The tour does involve walking on uneven surfaces. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and professional, although we never heard his name. We very much enjoyed the experience!

Wonderful tour!
Ciro, our guide, was wonderful. I enjoyed learning from him about the day to day life of the people of Pompeii and his enthusiasm for the subject matter. The time frame for the tour was ideal and left us plenty of time to explore on our own. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Pompeii. It was a great experience.

Definitely worth it
It was definitely worth going with a guide. He was knowledgeable, entertaining and friendly, and added a lot to my understanding. We finished in the museum, where he showed us many key exhibits and we had the option to explore further on our own afterwards. There were only six people in the group. It was always easy to hear the guide, and he answered everyone’s questions.

Excellent guided tour
A wonderful experience with an excellent guide. Mario was very informative and had a gently humorous and friendly manner. The two hours flew by. The booking process was very smooth (we gave 36hrs notice for the English guided tour) with clear instructions on where and when to meet. Highly recommended.

Our guide Mario offered us a very interesting and informative tour with many details. The two hours that ended up being two and a half felt short! Paestum is very much worth it and even better guided by someone passionate about history.

Discovering PAESTUM with an expert guide
We decided to visit the archaeological site of PAESTUM with our nine-year-old daughter. To optimize time and make the best use of the half-day available, we thought it best to rely on a guide and we chose this mini tour that included the area and museum. We were very satisfied, the number of people was quite limited so we could follow the explanation very well. Mario is a very quick-witted guide, capable of making every explanation interesting, even the most difficult ones, and even the children were very interested. Ready to answer every curiosity with historical details and more. For the time also dedicated to the museum, we believe the cost is more than fair! excellent experience
