Let yourself be surprised with this beautiful trip to ancient Perú. We will discover the most important oracle during “Incas” time. This impressive archeological site is still considered a sacred place for many local natives. In the past, everybody wanted to come to Pachacamac to visit and say "thank you" to the creator (Pachacamac) for receiving a good harvest, climate, water source, etc, and also to get answers to their questions. Pachacamac was also the place for high-level studies of astronomy, architecture, also a place for ancient rituals and human sacrifices as payments to Mother Earth; natives celebrated large festivities in honor of the gods. Come and immerse yourself in the ancient culture of Pachacamac!

The adventure begins the moment we pick you up from your accommodation. We’ll navigate local roads and vibrant avenues that showcase the true colors and energy of Lima. You’ll experience the city's lively atmosphere firsthand—passing street vendors and bustling crowds—as you feel the "embrace" of this metropolis of 12 million people. As we head toward Pachacamac, we’ll join the Pan-American Highway, the world's longest international route. Along the way, the sight of colorful shantytowns and unique local architecture offers an authentic perspective on the real Lima, making this journey as much a learning experience as an adventure.
Step back in time to visit the most important sacred sanctuary on the central coast of South America. Admire the site's colossal scale and take in the panoramic views of ancient pyramids, the fresh breeze of the Pacific Ocean, and the lush green valley below. Located just 31 km southeast of Lima (about a one-hour drive), the Pachacamac Archaeological Complex is an impressive pre-Columbian citadel featuring intricate adobe and stone palaces and towering pyramidal temples. We highly recommend visiting Pachacamac as your introduction to Andean culture before heading to Cusco and Machu Picchu. By exploring this coastal power center first, you will gain a much deeper understanding of how Inca traditions and architecture evolved!

Excellent guide. Clear picture of 2000 years of history.
Excellent experience from start to finish. I did the City Tour and subsequently the visit to Pachacámac, and both tours were very well organized. Eduardo and César were excellent guides: friendly, attentive, and with great knowledge, making the explanations very interesting and clear. I also highlight the punctuality, the adherence to the schedule, and the organization throughout the day. The transportation was very comfortable, the vehicles were impeccable, and the staff in charge of the transfers was always very friendly. In addition, they offered water and snacks during the tour, and the lunch was delicious. A very complete and totally recommended experience. Thank you very much to the whole team!
It was a interesting morning out of the city. Our guide, Maverick, was very informative and explained everything clearly. The ruins are great. If you want to learn about the lesser known history of Peru, this is a great tour.
This tour is overpriced, given that Pachacamac is in early states of investigation and conservation. Our tour guide Alexis and our driver Jorge provided excellent service so it is not their fault that the price value ratio is not worth it.
JJ was an excellent guide. Extremely knowledgeable. I learned so much on the tour. Highly recommended.
A great trip overall. Our guide, Maverick, was professional, informative but also very friendly and fun. The tour is the easiest way to get to the ruins. It's definitely worth a morning out of the city. Thank you Maverick. We had a lovely morning with you.
This was a small group tour & we loved it. There was plenty of time both in the museum & at the archeological site. Maverick was an excellent guide & was very patient answering all our questions. The archeological site was much bigger than I expected. The minibus takes you to the different sites to view, with a short walk for the final site. A great morning. Thank you so much!
We took a tour of Pachacámac, and what made it so special was having done it with César, Raúl, and Julio. Everything was perfect, there was very good communication, and all the explanations were very lively and interesting. We are very grateful, I surely recommend it.
Cesar was a very great and informal guide. Very knowledgable and helpful with information regarding Pachacamac. And Miguel the driver was great as well. I would highly recommend for anyone interested in Pachacamac to book through him.
Has a great trip with Haku tours and the guide went above and beyond to explain everything in detail including a history of Peru which was very interesting. I took the tour with two teenagers and my mum and everyone enjoyed it. Highly recommend the guide and Haku tours
