Great trip with lots if info while enjoying the cool breeze and sights. Great tour guide. Recommend!
The experience of cruising down the Ottawa River was amazing. The guide was very informative and did a wonderful job of telling us the history and interesting facts about the surrounding area. Awesome job. Worth the fare.
The boat tour was good to pass an hour. However, all you really see are some buildings and are given certain facts about the buildings. Most of them are in relation to politics which is to be expected given the location of the tour. There isn't anything else to see. The guide was lovely. She took the time to check in with everyone during the non speaking party of the tour. This is a nice gesture. The weather was lovely and we had a good time. Just thought I would see more, but otherwise it was all good!
Directions to get to the dock from the parking lot were very poorly marked. Can is a very good narrator
The extra charge for 'priority seats' was ridiculous....the seats had covers on them....made no difference. The experience was not worth the price. Also, i don't need to hear loud music of NOT Canadian musicians while on this cruise. Could have been so much nicer to hear low volume, Canadian talent. I know that this area of Ontario is FULL of interesting facts and information. However, what the guide provided was so brief. Even though we had booked an English tour, he did the presentation in both languages. All the time required for translation could have be used to share more information. Overall, a disappointment.
Great view from the water. Our announcer Cam was very enthusiastic and informative. Great job! Smooth sailing.
superb discovery and great guide.
We had a great tour guide. Her name was wendy she was fabulous
More interested in money than customer service. No help in a difficult situation. No response to our concerns.
I would not recommend this tour. The guide, Wendy, was extremely rude. Two sets of guests were having quiet conversations, and she interrupted them twice to scold them while on her microphone. We could even hear the scolding downstairs, and it was very uncomfortable. It sent a message that we were there for her and not the other way around. She was also hard to understand, and not very interesting. It was hard to find the boat dock. They tell you to arrive 30 minutes early but there was no one there, and nowhere to shelter from the rain. Do t bother with this low-class tour, but if you do don’t bother showing up until about 10-15 before the tour.
