This monastery is actually made up of 3 churches located at 3 different levels. The oldest is the one that is the highest and that everyone photographs. Very beautiful place. The 3 visits are different and all worth it. I recommend it.
The organization of the tour, guidance, recommendations for places to visit during the remaining days, and the overall service were all at the highest level. I would highly recommend all of your services.
Our visit to Ostrog Monastery with Dragan was a truly enriching experience. His in-depth knowledge of the monastery’s history, spiritual significance, and local traditions added a meaningful dimension to the visit. Throughout the tour, Dragan was professional, attentive, and a true gentleman. He explained everything with clarity and genuine passion, making the experience both informative and engaging. His calm and confident manner made us feel completely at ease. We highly recommend Dragan to anyone wishing to experience Montenegro in a thoughtful and authentic way.
Excellent tour, filled with local history. Felt safe as a solo female traveller.
My experience visiting Ostrog Monastery and its breathtaking surroundings was truly unforgettable, thanks to my guide, Dragan. From the moment the journey began, he combined deep local knowledge with genuine warmth, making every stop meaningful and every story come alive. Dragan navigates Montenegro’s winding roads with confidence and care, but what truly sets him apart is his passion for sharing the history, spirituality, and hidden corners of this remarkable region. He offered thoughtful insights, answered every question with patience, and created a relaxed atmosphere that allowed me to fully appreciate the beauty of Ostrog and the landscapes around it. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made the entire experience smooth and enriching. If you’re visiting Montenegro and want a guide who goes above and beyond, I wholeheartedly recommend Dragan. He turned a special place into an extraordinary memory.
What an awesome day it was! The scenery was truly breathtaking. The monastery, perched high in the mountains was unearthly, comforting the soul, no matter what religion a visitor might confess. But all five stars go to Dragan, the amazing tour guide, who rendered the best service ever. His easy-going manner, communication skills and thorough knowledge made the day complete. I sincerely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Podgorica despite the length of the stay.
Ostrog is a very interesting monastery in the rock. Dragan showed not only the monastery, but also its surroundings. Very good coffee and raspberry drink in the Sokolinny restaurant next to the monastery.
Dragan picked us up at our hotel and we spent a very instructive and pleasant day visiting Ostrog monastery. We also wish to recommend Dragan for being a knowledgeable, friendly and forthcoming person whom we would definitely contact again for any other visit to Montenegro.
Dragan was amazing! Super friendly and always on time. His car was spotless and stocked with refreshments. The first tour was so great, I ended up booking him two more times, once to see more attractions and again to get to my next destination. He tailored every tour to fit exactly what I wanted to see. Reliable, professional, great pricing, and genuinely kind, highly recommend his service!
