Beer lovers, UNITE!
My boyfriend managed to find the perfect experience for us (we are both absolute beer lovers). There was not a single beer we didn’t like (some more than others, though my favorite was this Porter called Portfirio)
It is literally a whole in the wall, the place was empty and we had the owners to ourselves and learned more than we bargained for. Maryrose, again, was so hospitable and an absolute delight. On our last visit, in july, we went with a group of friends and we went on the Tip Top Tacos and Seafood for you tours, both of them amazing as well!
Go on at least on tour with our girl! you will not regret it! It's a whole other way to get to know and see more beyond the typical tours in Huatulco. Can't wait to go on our next little adventure with Maryrose this fall :)

Beware
Terrible experience. Tour guide did not show up at all, when contacted they claimed the tour was cancelled on their end and I'm not entitled to a refund becuase I booked less than 24 hours in advance. Denied my refund. Then tried to sell me some other tours! A bit of a scam.

A Neighborhood Craft Beer Hole in The Wall
Like beer? This is definitely the tour you!
There are draft and seemingly unlimited unique bottle beers. My wife took every empty bottle with her to use to display flowers and who knows what else. I don’t wanna admit how many bottles she took. The owners are sommeliers of Craft beer.
Make sure you try the beer with the Mezcal. The tour was to take two hours, but it lasted a lot longer. Mary Rose our guide left us to ourselves and was probably was a good idea she did. This is a fun little hole in the wall place and shouldn’t be missed.

Great Hole in the Wall Experience
Maryrose takes you to a little hole in the wall beer seller, called Beer + where you get to sample regional bottled and draft brews and learn about how they're made. Fun, low key excursion with some tasty beers. Maryrose took the extra step and walked us to a nice restaurant she recommended for dinner afterwards.

Regional Beers at a Great Hole in the Wall
Great way to experience a small local business and learn about regional craft beers at an awesome hole in the wall called Beer +. Our guide, Maryrose went about and beyond and kindly recommended and walked us to a delicious restaurant afterwards.

Steer clear
I had a very disappointing experience with this Oaxaca beer tour. The organizer informed us that the brewery we were supposed to visit had shut down the day before, and instead of offering an immediate solution, she tried to convince us to join a cocktail tour instead. While we weren’t interested in that, she kept pushing it, even after we insisted on a refund. It was frustrating and felt like she was trying to get out of providing the service we paid for. Eventually, I had to figure out how to exchange currency to get our refund in Mexican pesos. After a bit of a hassle, she finally provided the money, but it wasn’t the experience I expected. Would not recommend this tour to anyone.
Operator response
We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed. Unfortunately we were unaware that the brewery was closed just before we met at the meeting point.
Given there are no other brewery options in Huatulco we offered to switch your experience to a cocktail tour which was the only option on the day due to the brewery being closed.
As for the refund, we wanted to make the process easier for you by providing you with an instant cash refund rather than you having to spend time contacting Viator for reimbursement.
We simply agreed to confirm the exchange rate before providing you with the amount in pesos which we did in full and promptly.
We would like another opportunity to provide you with an experience in the future.

BEER tasting was really fun!
Such a fun experience! Pedro at BEER + is a nice guy, explained about the beers, where brewed and had us taste some of the dried ingredients. For a not very expiremental beer drinker like me it was a good chance to taste and learn. Mary Rose had delicious snacks and was a wealth of knowledge about surrounding restaurants, guiding us to a great one near BEER + 🍺 !
She even shared a photo of her cute dog, Joy, with us!

Una Mas Por Favor
Our group of 8 are from Milwaukee, WI. Once a beer capital of the US. We love our beer. We found a tour called Oaxca Craft Beer Experience. We opted for the tasting menu, but that was not enough for our gang, We moved on to the flight menu. The owners could not possibly have been more friendly or knowlegable about their area of expertise. I for one left the tour feeling like I had a masters in Mexican craft beers.
We rented this tiny bar and had SO much fun!!! It was truly the most fun we had on any given night.
The icing on the cake was the variety and exceptional quality of the beers.
All of us would definitely recommend this tour
