I brought my 13 year old niece from Tucson and we had an absolute blast. Hunter the tour guide was fantastic. My client Gary told me about and I was so glad he did.
Woohoo! So happy we could help make memories of your trip with your niece. Hunter is great! Also nice to hear that word-of-mouth works, thank you for sharing your review here.
We did this tour on Friday and there was pretty much zero AC on the bus they put us on. A few people dropped off at the first stop and by the end of the tour, only half the people had stayed on. They should not have run it if the AC was not working on a day that was 90 degrees out. Also, we weren't able to hear some of the tour guide dialogue as the microphone wasn't working.
The bus was hot no ac. I left the tour at the first stop. My wife couldn’t handle the heat. This tour needs better transportation arrangements. I will not recommend this tour.
A really well guided tour by Lou, she really knew her stuff and kept it engaging throughout. The stop off points for the photo opportunities were perfect. The bus could have done with better AirCon though!
The tour guide Tanner was really good and informative, you could tell he had a passion and knowledge of what he was talking about films and tv. he had time for questions, took photos for people at the stops, and was friendly and welcoming, our driver John made the drive smooth to each location and throughout the tour was a bit bumpy in a couple of spots, at the end of the tour we had a pamphlet handed out for a cut the line at Ellen’s stardust diner which was super great as it’s a really great place to eat and entertained without having to wait in a massive queue so thank you
I would not recommend this tour. The bus was old and had no air conditioning, which made the experience very uncomfortable, especially in the summer. The tour was far too long, and because of the heavy traffic, you don’t actually get to enjoy or properly see most of the places. It tries to cover too much instead of focusing on fewer sites with a better experience. In fact, about half of the passengers left the tour before it even finished, which says a lot. You’re much better off seeing fewer places and taking the time to actually enjoy them. I would not book this tour again.
This tour was awesome! For the price it was more than worth it. We saw several locations from Central Park down to SoHo and back. Plenty of time to stop and take pics, lots of random facts about the city, and the DVD clips definitely helped pull the visual altogether. We did the premium seating to sit up front, but honestly the crowd size was small and intimate so it would be fine either way. I would do another tour without question and recommend it to friends.
Thank you for sharing! We are so happy to hear that you had a great time and it made your trip to NYC more memorable, and now you can relive those shows and movies and say "I've been there!" :)
The NYC TV & Movie Locations Bus Tour was a lot of fun and offered some great behind-the-scenes insights into famous filming locations from Friends, Seinfeld, and many other shows and movies. The highlight of the experience was definitely our tour guide, who was knowledgeable, energetic, and kept everyone entertained throughout the tour. Their enthusiasm and stories made the locations come to life and added a lot of value to the experience. Unfortunately, the bus itself was disappointing. It appeared quite old, the air conditioning was not working properly, and the seats were extremely uncomfortable for a tour of this length. On a warm New York City day, the lack of adequate air conditioning made the ride much less enjoyable than it could have been. Overall, I would still recommend the tour because the content and guide were excellent, but the company would greatly improve the experience by updating the buses and ensuring the air conditioning is functioning properly. The guide earned 5 stars, while the bus brought the overall experience down.
Our guide was Tanner, and he was as knowledgeable as he was accommodating. The bus was a little late, which was understandable in the awful traffic. He kept us informed of what was happening and then we were off. My friend's kids were utterly charmed by Tanner and I thought we had plenty of time for stops at the sites. Seeing the Ghostbusters fire house has been on my bucket list, and your company made it easy to check off.
We are so happy that you had a great experience on the tour and that Tanner made it memorable - and that your bucket list is now a little shorter! Thank you for sharing
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. However the bus was late and did not have air conditioning so it was miserable. We also had very little time at the stops.
