Most of the tour consists of old pictures shown to you on an iPad. The guide was nice but we really did not walk much. Most of the places were not allowed access. We expected to see hidden parts of the station The description of the tour was not accurate.
Great experience! I commuted to and from Grand Central for several years and can't believe how much I learned on this tour. Many thanks to Jonathan who was an excellent guide and made the tour interesting and enjoyable. I'd recommend this tour even for New Yorkers like me who want to learn about this iconic site!
Our guide was fabulous. The tour was a must do for anyone coming to New York. Well worth the money.
This was a great, very informative tour and our guide, Bob, was great.
This tour helped me see so many things unnoticed during past visits. Amazing history as Manhattan grew North.
Interesting, and Mickey made the tour fun. We heard everything said, as ear mics were distributed to each attendee.
Jonathan was wonderful! It was fun and very informative. I wish we had the tour at the beginning of our trip as we would have been better acquainted with everything there.
Cullen did an amazing job explaining the history of grand central in a fun and informative way. I’d highly recommend the tour.
Thank you to John, our guide who shared his knowledge of the Grand Central Terminal. A fascinating insight into this incredible building, the history and architecture, plus stories about the Vanderbilts and Jackie Onassis. An important story about the value of heritage preservation in a city. I highly recommend this tour on your visit to New York. I always search for different experiences, slightly off the regular tourist routes where possible and this is certainly the perfect way to learn something new, away from the regular tourist sights.
I went with 2 old friends, one of whom booked it for us. Jonathan led the most exhilarating, hilarious and informative tour I can imagine—so much more fun than ever I anticipated. In a group of 12, he made it feel intimate by learning all our names and addressing each of us enough so that by the middle of the tour it felt like we all knew each other.
