Very interesting everything the guide explained to us. Very nice and curious the places we saw. A highly recommended tour.

Stroll through one of the oldest parts of Dublin on an eerie ghost walk tour, to the area once known as Oxmantown. This former Viking enclave has a rich haunted history. On this 2-hour guided walk, you will hear stories and witness locations of the haunted history of Dublin. Hotel pickup and drop-off is not included.
In demand: 9 of the next 9 departures are already sold out.
From the operator’s live schedule on Viator, checked Oct 13.
You might want to steel your nerves before venturing with us to Croppie’s Acre. This long-abandoned site was used as a football pitch in the 20th century. Shocking when you consider that it is a mass grave – the final resting place of hundreds of rebels executed after the 1798 rebellion. If you are of a sensitive disposition, you may well come away feeling disturbed. Sometimes, the spirits here attempt communication!
With more than a thousand years of history, Dublin is one of the most haunted cities in the world. Hidden Dublin Walks will take you through one of the oldest parts of Dublin; the area once known as Oxmantown.
With more than a thousand years of history, Dublin is one of the most haunted cities in the world. Walk through one of the oldest parts of Dublin; the area once known as Oxmantown with its rich haunted history. You will discover the site of Saint Mary’s Abbey; one of the most powerful monastic settlements in Ireland in medieval times, now just a small ruin down an alleyway, passed by thousands of oblivious commuters every day.
You will hear the story of Lord Norbury, the infamous and sadistic ‘Hanging Judge’ who presided over the trial of Robert Emmet. Hated in life, in death he returned to continue his reign of terror. Emmet himself might make an appearance, for it is said he can still be found peering out of the window at The Brazen Head, looking to see if those who approach are friend or foe. You will learn the legend of Scaldbrother, the infamous medieval thief whose buried treasure may still lie in a labyrinth of tunnels under Smithfield. Not to mention Billy the Bowl, the 18th century murderer, born without legs, who once terrorized Stoneybatter and Grangegorman. If you are feeling brave enough, we will take you down Hendrick Street, once the site of two of the most haunted houses in Dublin. Between them, nos. 7 and 8 Hendrick Street were home to no fewer than six different ghosts. Demolished in the 1960’s, the houses are long gone, but the ghosts may still linger.

Tour cancelled. Had travelled to Dublin. And was told at 12.00 pm .as we had travelled was disappointed that cancelation for tour was 7pm previous day was not honoured by organisers.so avoiding a fruitless journey
My mother and I took this walking tour and really loved it. Our tour guide, Darragh, was so passionate and excited to share his historical knowledge of the city and that made the tour so much more fun. We were lucky enough to have a small group of 4 which made it easy to connect with the tour guide and ask questions. I found the tour to be more of a historical tour of the city then a ghost tour. I didn’t feel like someone was trying to sell me on ghosts roaming the city so much as explaining that if there were strange happenings the history of the place justified the experience. I would totally recommend.
Guide was knowledgeable about the dark history of Dublin and told interesting stories. We felt safe walking around with him and the small group.
As we were visiting Dublin on Halloween we booked this activity. Although the host was lovely and he did tell some interesting stories there were no actual ghost stories which was very disappointing. This activity should be advertised as a history walk.
Thankyou for taking the time to send this review , we loved to hear our guide did there job well, we also take each review serious and will look into this.
I was traveling through Dublin on Halloween and wanted to do something to celebrate the occasion. The guide was very knowledgeable and the stories shared were really interesting. It felt like a tour that was year round though and I wished they had done something seasonal to acknowledge it was Halloween. For anyone who does choose to do a walking tour on Halloween, just an FYI, there are fireworks set off all across the city and it can be loud and difficult to hear a tour guide. However, as a solo traveler it was a good experience and a fun way of meeting other people. The tour ends at the oldest pub in Dublin so you can get to know the others over a drink.
This tour was much better than I expected. I came along because of a friend and was surprised how educative and funny our host was. I would definitely recommend it to everybody who wants to get to know the city better. Loved it 🍻
Amazing thankyou for your 5star review . Be sure to come visit us again
Darragh was an excellent host. His love for his country and its history is very evident. He is a very friendly gentleman.

The trip was not what was expected, thought it was a ghost tour. We were kinda bored too. We ended up ditching halway through due to it being not what we expected
Thankyou for your review , unfortunately everyone's expectancy of a ghostly tour is different , if you had have stayed until the end , we think you would've left a better review.
Derrick was excellent tour guide told us about ghosts and Irish history. Loved both the ghost history and the Irish history related to ghosts Thank you
