Itinerary
Start your adventure with an early morning departure from Paris by comfortable bus. Get ready for a day filled with history, culture, and stunning landscapes as you travel across the picturesque countryside of Northern France.
Arrive at Omaha Beach, one of the key sites of the D-Day landings. Exploring this historic landmark with your guide, who will bring the events of June 6, 1944, to life. As you walk along the sands, you’ll see commemorative sculptures that pay tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for freedom. The guide will offer an overview of the significance of Omaha Beach and the part it played in the liberation of Europe during World War II.
Pointe du Hoc is a cliff on the coast of Normandy, France, that was a key strategic point during D-Day in World War II. It lies between Omaha and Utah beaches, and was fortified by the Germans with bunkers and heavy artillery.
After a moving experience at Omaha Beach, the journey continues as you head toward Mont Saint-Michel, a place steeped in history and medieval beauty.
Upon arrival at Mont Saint-Michel, you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch and explore the area. We highly recommend dining at La Salicorne restaurant in La Caserne to try their renowned soufflé omelet, a delicious local specialty. This is the perfect moment to relax, take in the unique atmosphere of the island, and prepare for the next part of your visit.
After lunch, immerse yourself in the magic of Mont Saint-Michel as you explore its iconic abbey ( if you choose the option with entrance to the abbey ). A marvel of Gothic architecture and spirituality, this UNESCO World Heritage site has been a place of pilgrimage since the 8th century. Wander through the abbey's stunning halls and chapels, and marvel at the sweeping views of the tidal flats from its terraces. You’ll also have time to stroll the quaint, medieval streets that wind around the abbey, discovering hidden gems and soaking up the timeless charm of this remarkable island.
Arrive back in Paris, concluding your unforgettable day tour to Omaha Beach and Mont Saint-Michel. With memories of historic landmarks, captivating stories, and stunning views, you’ll have had a taste of some of the best that France has to offer.

A truly enjoyable but lengthy excursion to two worthy sites in a wifi available bus. Fernando did a great job keeping us entertained and informed in three languages.
It was a nice trip visiting iconic spots in Normandy. The guide Fernando was good and entertaining. The tour was very long with huge distances to cover, but the driver Antonio did his best. Though this was a unique tour covering Mont Saint Michel and a couple of the Normandy D day monuments, the time allocated to visit each spot was less making it feel rushed especially at the Omaha beach. There was no dedicated time for lunch. Some time could have been saved if some people in the tour could have respected the timings. Overall, It was a good experience, I had a good time.
The sights are incredible, unfortunately our tour guide did not speak English very well, could not understand most of what he was saying
Antonio and Fernando were incredible. Fernando was so kind, so accommodating and so resourceful. My husband and I traveled with our two teenage boys (14,17) and this has been our happiest travel day of the 12-day vacation. So pleased we decided to do this.
Incredible!!!! It is a tiring tour due to the distances, but totally recommended. Fernando, the guide, shows his passion for history and transmits it; he made the day very entertaining and educational. Antonio, the driver, thank you for making the trip calm and safe for everyone.
It was a challenge to understand the guide, but was extremely nice. We also would have welcomed some water on the bus, even if we had to purchase it.
An excellent tour, the guide Fernando is one of the best, very kind and explains things super well.
Fernando and Antonio were very helpful and kind. Information was given via WhatsApp in several languages before we arrived to places and it was very useful to follow the trip and appreciate the places we were visiting.
You visit Omaha Beach with the memorial monuments and the remains of bunkers, etc., and then at Saint-Michel there is time to eat and visit the abbey; it is recommended although it is far from Paris. We took the excursion with Fernando and Antonio, who were very attentive.
The experience itself was quite good and interesting, visiting what would be Normandy, specifically Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, and Mont Saint-Michel, seeing every detail of each specific place.
