Description
Our activity is different from others because of the knowledge of our guides. The Nosara Biological Reserve is a protected area in Nosara with a fascinating mangrove forest. Our guides enjoy explaining different processes in this environment, especially its nocturnal life. Our type of forest, considered humid-dry, is a truly interesting experience. Costa Rica has many microclimates, and experiencing this type of forest will give you different perspectives compared to others you visit while traveling through Costa Rica.

Our guide, Victor, took...
Our guide, Victor, took us on a fascinating walk in the reserve where we looked for various wildlife. He pointed out a cool spider, raccoons, Coatis, a possum and a skunk. We also saw the largest toad any of us had seen. There were a few crocodiles in the distance, some roosting birds, and a few neat insects as well.
