In summer, you can upgrade to include the legendary Niagara City Cruises boat ride (seasonal from approx. May to November - will be substituted with Niagara Takes Flight when not in operation); Journey Behind the Falls is also available year-round. Enjoy free time to explore on your own, plus an optional Canadian-themed lunch at Maple Leaf Place with maple syrup, fudge, and chocolate tastings along the Maple trail. The tour departs at 8:30 AM from 55 York Street, Toronto; the drive to Niagara Falls takes about 2 hours. Once the tour departs, your expert guide begins live commentary on the history of Toronto and the Falls.
Enjoy free time at the Falls to explore on foot—grab lunch, snap photos, and browse—or use it to add attractions. Pick the Boat Cruise (skip-the-ticket-line + keepsake poncho) or Journey Behind the Falls (skip-the-ticket-line, year-round); in winter, when the boat doesn’t operate, we substitute Niagara Takes Flight.
Upgrade to include skip-the-ticket-line entry to the Hornblower Boat Cruise (formerly Maid-of-the-Mist) with a souvenir keepsake rain poncho. **Winter substitution: When the boat is not operating, it may be replaced with Niagara Takes Flight as a substitution for the boat only (not an additional attraction).
Upgrade to include a skip-the-ticket-line entry for Journey Behind the Falls, an experience with the closest views to the Falls (available year-round)
During the winter months, usually from December to April when the boat is not available, it will be substituted with Niagara Parks’ Niagara Takes Flight. This new immersive flying theatre includes motion seats, wrap-around dome, and wind/mist effects that “fly” you over the Niagara River.

Nestled along the scenic Niagara Parkway, the Floral Clock is one of Niagara Parks’ most beloved and photographed landmarks. This unique horticultural timepiece features a vibrant display made up of over 16,000 seasonal flowers and plants, which are meticulously arranged to create a beautiful and ever-changing design. The clock face spans 40 feet in diameter and is fully functional, with hands that actually tell time.

Luis and Lisa were amazing. Luis was a wealth of information, rifling off fact after fact of every thing we drove by. Lisa was a heck of a driver driving the large coach that sat us all comfortably with a washroom and air conditioning. They kept us on schedule and got us to each excursion with no issues. At one point one of the passengers was late to get on and they tracked them down ensuring no man was left behind. The tour was well worth the money and was an absolute blast. We would recommend this to everyone.
It is a fun day, and the Falls and the boat trip are a definite must-see. The time to spend in Niagara after the boat trip was generous. Some of the other parts of the trip are a bit rushed, especially Niagara-by-the-Lake (a 1 hour stop but you need to keep 15 minutes of that for walking from the car park to town and back). A lot of crawling in Toronto rush-hour traffic on the way back. Alex was a very good guide.
