For a truly memorable visit to Niagara, take a thrilling journey down the Niagara River on an open-air jet boat. There's no better - or wetter - way to enjoy the beautiful scenery and amazing white water of the Niagara River. You will experience what we like to call our white water playground where the Class V Devil's Hole Rapids will get you completely soaked. After that thrilling experience you will travel up the river to the farthest point in the trip where you will see the famous Niagara Whirlpool. The Whirlpool and Niagara Falls are separated by a stretch of Class VI rapids that are unnavigable (and illegal) to pass through. This tour departs from the Canadian side, and you return to the same location.

Important Information

- Arrive promptly 45 minutes prior to departure time to register, sign participation agreement and hear pre-trip safety orientation. If you miss the safety orientation, we will move you to the next available trip time without notice (which could be the next day) so it is important to arrive on time.
- The participation agreement thoroughly explains to anyone interested in the trip, all pertinent aspects of jet-boating including personal health requirements. Refusal to sign the agreement will not merit a credit or refund.
- Wheelchair accessibility - if assistance is required, passenger must provide their own carer. Guests must be able to sit on a bench seat and support themselves by holding on to a bar in-front of each seat without assistance.
- Late or no-show participants will not receive a refund. You have 24 hours prior to your trip to cancel for a full refund. Trips can be rescheduled until 24 hours before the departure at no added charge (subject to availability).
- Trips rescheduled within 24 hours of the trip time will be subject to an additional 10% rebooking fee.
- Guests must arrive on site via their own form of transportation - Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours is not responsible for getting you to the dock.

- There is a minimum height requirement of 44″ tall for the WET Jet seats. Children will be measured on-site, and those who do not meet the requirements will not be permitted to ride.
- Guests under the age of 13 and/or under 100 lbs are not permitted to sit in the first 3-4 rows of any vessel. (All loading and guest seating is at the sole discretion of the Captain and Crew of the vessel).
- Guests age 13-15 years old must be seated with a guest who is 16 years or older to ride the first 3-4 rows of the boat, with an adult chaperone(18+) on board. Guests age 16-17 years old can ride the first 3-4 rows of the boat with an adult chaperone (18+) on board. Guests under 18 years old are not permitted to ride without an adult chaperone (age 18+).

A lot of fun. The guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I believe her name was Grace. You truly get drenched. Bring a change of clothes. And wear water shoes. if the sun wasn’t out, we would’ve been very cold dress appropriately for cloudy weather.
Our tour guide and captain did an amazing job. My family was laughing and shocked of how soaked we were. We were not prepared! Haha. Come in swim suits you will be drenched.
This was wonderful. You must be aware you will not see The Falls and you will play around in Class 5 rapids, but if you love getting wet and the thrill of going through waves, you will love it!!! BTW..there are no seatbelts so hold on tight!!!!! We loved our guide Isabella and our Captain (can’t remember his name, so sorry). Definitely worth every penny!
What an amazing experience. Totally worth the money. Great Guide and Captain. We were sitting in the front and we were happy we did. We got WET. The guide was informative and funny. The set up process, registration, waiver, short lesson, getting on the boat and getting off the boat were seamless. The only thing that lacked a bit was the after sales. We wanted to buy a photo as well as a video but when we got to the Trent/trailer no one was helping. We were confused as how to purchase those items. Unless you took clothes off the rack and brought it to the counter NO One offered to help you figure out how or where exaclty to go to purchase a picture of video. Kinda sad as we really wanted one.
You will be soaking wet! The ponchos are worthless to stay dry but can warm you for the ride back. Bella was wonderful and Charlie gave us the ride of our life! Unforgettable!
This was truly the best activity we did while we were in NF. We wished we had time to do it a second time. So much fun. Wish we could have sat in the front of the boat (we were in the back right side - better to be on the left side and in the front). Dominic ( I think) was friendly and informative about the area. The only problem is, you couldnt hear what he was saying 90% of the time. Like Charlie Brown's teacher, "whah whah, whah whah". It all ran together. Between the motor, the wind, the chattering of other folks, the water splashing - there's no way we could understand him. A coworker needs to sit and take a ride with others to see how hard it is to understand the words. Anyway, it was so so fun. Have totally already told people to do this. My husband loved it so much, he bought the video and we've sent it to a few friends to show what we did.
You need to show up 45 mins early. If you don’t you won’t make your boat time. You need to look deep into the confirmation page to find this information. It made it very stressful after getting there with 25 mins and finding out I was actually too late for the time slot. Luckily the staff on sight were wonderful and able to accommodate me.
My wife and I had only two days in Niagara Falls area. As we were booking all of our activities, we were planning to do the Zipline to the Falls. Just before I booked it, I decided to do some research - and found it only lasted for about 45 seconds, despite the massive price tag. Wanting to do something adventurous but not wanting to spend $200 on a 45 second attraction, we did some research and found the Whirlpool Jet Tours. MAN what a good decision!! The boat ride is about 30 minutes and is an incredible mixture of views and action moments. We had SOOOO much fun. We wanted to go again immediately, but unfortunately the next available boat would have been just a little too late as we had to get back to the airport. If we could have, we would have! I cannot recommend this activity enough - but with one sort of caveat. We only did the "get wet" tour, so I cannot say this with certainty: but based on our experience and what we saw, I feel like the "get wet" option is a significantly better experience. It's probably fun both ways, and you can get better views and video in the dry version - but the feeling of the warm water splashing you while making crazy turns in the rapids is what truly made this activity so much fun for us. One note: I would NOT recommend the video. We spent the $50 (CAD) for the video and photos and were very disappointed. It's a splice together of all the shots taken on the boat. We appear in only a very few scenes for a few seconds, and the video does not do justice to the drenching that we got. If you want a video, you'd be better off using the "go again for 50% off" option and do a dry tour where you can take the video yourself :)

i can't swim float nothing but this was on my bucket list all staff let me know i would be safe and nothing would happen......baby i had an amazing time Big shot out to jackie & grace u ladies rock i will be back i had an amazing time!!
We had a blast. The jet boat was so much fun. Drenched from head to toe. Word of advice, ponchos do not help, just something else to get wet, so we did not wear them. Jackie was our guide and Grace was our boat driver and they were amazing. Jackie serenaded us the whole trip. You guys were amazing.
