New York City: Sex and the City Hotspots Private Guided Tour

This was the highlight of our trip to New York. We met our fantastic guide, Amanda, in front of the plaza and she pointed out 6 places in that locality and told us what scenes had been filmed in each. We then met our lovely driver, John, and took off on a complete fandom tour. Amanda had loads of inside info on the girls, filming and locations & it was very interactive with Amanda asking questions and inviting us to chat about our thoughts on the show & the characters. We ate cupcakes, drank cosmopolitans, had our photo taken at Carrie's stoop and so much more. I would highly recommend this tour for fans, it brings Sex and the City to life.

Our tour guide, Amanda, was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and fun. But, I think she should have used better judgment about the conditions we had to endure during the tour, We had a miserable time because it was over 90 degrees, the A/C on the bus wasn’t working, the windows didn’t open and we were drenched in sweat. No water was offered nor any partial refund for this 3-hour dehydrating & uncomfortable experience. Another bus should have been acquired or the tour cancelled/refunded rather than “cooking” all of us in a confined space for that long.

We saw it all! Lou was a wonderful guide and told us all kinds of interesting facts about filming SATC. Highly recommend this tour for fans.

Hannah was great. My wife had a blast. I knew absolutely nothing but had fun. Fee was fine. The tour didn't seem long or short, seemed just right. The bus fit about a dozen or so people. Driving was safe. Good atmosphere. Best for people who watched the show for sure.

We did the Sex in the City bus tour. The was a great tour. Our guide Ryahn, (I think that’s how she spelled it), was amazing. We got to see and experience many of the hot spots from the show. It’s a great way to see the iconic locations. Also a great way to spend the afternoon.

This was such an amazing experience! As a huge lifelong SATC fan, this tour was everything! Our tour guide Hannah was so funny, genuine, and a true fan! She made the experience memorable and we loved getting to know her and the other guests on the tour. Overall, from one true fan to another, you don't want to miss this tour! Jen

Do not book with this company. We were scheduled for the Sex and the City tour on Sunday, 12 October. We showed up on time (3:15 pm) and at the correct location (corner of 5th Ave and 59th in front of Bergdorf Goodman) even though we literally had to maneuver around the Peruvian Heritage parade traveling down 5th Ave. After walking a few blocks to meet a bus (that never showed up), we waited until just before 4:30 before we came to the decision that of the (2) options offered – wait for the bus or come back the next day – neither were going to work for us. Due to the Nor’easter that was blowing through the area, NJ Transit was closing rail lines along our route and because we had to return to NJ that night, it was best for us to get on the earliest train back. We could not risk getting back to NJ that night because my friend and I had scheduled flights home the next day. This is also why the option of returning the next day for the tour did not work for us. I emailed the On Location office to ask for a refund since we did everything within our control to go on the tour yet circumstances beyond our control impeded us taking the tour. The response I received back from the office was short and impersonal and basically said that since the tour went, they could not offer a refund, only a gift certificate. This company is only out for a profit and their actions show they are not concerned with customer service. Do not book with them.

I'm 73 years old and my granddaughter is 27 years old, and we both loved the Sex in the City Tour! She and her girlfriends started watching Sex in the City during Covid and they watched all the seasons and the movies and the new series, so it was really her idea. I had barely watched it over the years, Still, it was really fun for both of us! Amanda was our tour guide and she ROCKED (!!) John was our EXECELLENT driver. Amanda knew her SITC trivia and quizzed us all through the tour and it added so much fun to the afternoon, not just pointing out places. We traveled across Manhatten, seeing places I wouldn't have ordinarily seen and I enjoyed the times we were able to get out and walk around as well. 10/10 recommend!!!

I booked this tour as a surprise for my best friend who travelled to NYC from the UK. I can honestly say this tour what certainly not what I expected. For one the cost of this tour was way over priced, there was no drinks or refreshments provided on the tour. Apart from a tiny cupcake. One of the 4 o stops was a bar in which if you wanted a drink you had to pay for this (it was a discounted rate of 12 dollars) but even so this should have been part of the tour price. I would but recommend this tour. They really need to reduce the price of this as it’s not worth the $160 dollars I paid.

Great tour, Lou was extremely knowledgeable, fun and clearly a fan of SATC. Really disappointing that the bus was so late, AC barely worked, the TV screen wasn't on and didn't show any footage. The bus is not as described!
