New York City's Best Pizza tour - You be the judge!

Description
Nothing says New York City like a good slice of pizza. Whether it’s a classic cheesy New York-style fold, a crispy, charred brick-oven pie, or the rich and creamy Artichoke slice, this tour is all about tasting the best of the best. We’ll walk through the streets of Greenwich Village, home to some of the city’s most legendary pizzerias. You’ll try everything from a $1.50 slice to a Detroit-style pie, and learn what makes each one special. Is it the dough? The sauce? The cheese? Or maybe… it’s the water? Between bites, we’ll soak in the energy of the neighborhood—bustling streets, cozy pizza joints, and a few local landmarks along the way. But let’s be honest: this tour is all about the pizza. Come hungry, bring your pizza-loving friends, and get ready for the ultimate NYC slice experience!

Itinerary
Starting off at a basic 'cheap' pizza spot and having a taste of the infamous 99 cent slice will get us off to the right start!
This place offers five different pizza pies. Let's taste one and see how it compares to the first one. Enjoy the celebrity photos on the wall and experience the classic signage and atmosphere.
Moving on to a place with a larger selection of pies. Do you like this slice better? Again we have walls covered in celebrity photos. That seems to be the theme at this places.
Oh dear. This place is buzzing with classic New York decor. Do you come for the decor or the pizza? Here they serve up extra large slices! I wonder if this is the best pizza in town?
Okay it may be a Detroit style slice but we know it as the home of the square slice. It's too good to pass on so let's take a bite!

I've been on food tours in rome and I would still put this at the top of my experiences. The food was amazing, and the guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and I would 100% do it again.

Super nice man knows a lot about New York. He was funny and all in all good time would recommend
Great tour. Little bit of history and a lot of pizza. Perfect to do with our 17 and 15 yr old boys.
This is my 1st time in New York visiting from Los Angeles. There’s so many choices for pizza I didn’t know where to start. I decided to book a pizza tour so I can try a variety. The tour was great, I got to try 5 different pizzerias all in walking distance. My tour guide Ron Ron was such an amazing guide and very friendly as well. He gave us the history of the pizzerias and also on certain historical buildings in the area. If you’re not sure which pizzas to try I really suggest taking a pizza tour.

We did a pizza tour around Greenwich with Ron-Ron and it was amazing! Ron-Ron took us to all the great places. The pizzas were all different so it was a different experience everytime. We also appreciated that Ron-Ron added history and pop culture into the tour. Definitely recommend anyone who wants to try a variety of pizzas on this tour.
