Captain Duane keep entertained up with history and music. We seenalot of wildlife and gators. We did a swamp tour in Florida and this tour beat it hands down. Well worth it.

This tour is done on a privately owned wildlife refuge, so what that means for our guests is that there are no other boats. We also do not allow hunting or fishing on our property. The guests will see the Manchac swamp as it is meant to be seen. The animals see the boats as part of their natural habitat, so they are unafraid to stay out in the open for our guests to see. Our boat captains will teach you about the animals that inhabit our swamp, as well as the way of life of the people that once called this swamp home.
Out at sunset: the 4:15 PM departure is under way when the sun sets, around 5:11 PM in the coming weeks.
From the operator’s live schedule on Viator, checked Oct 22.
As our slow-moving pontoon boat drifts through the waterways, you will learn about Louisiana Wetlands, the inhabitants of the swamp, particularly the life and habits of the American Alligator, as well as the unique history of the Cajun town of Frenier within the Manchac Swamp. Swamp creatures, seeing our boats daily, recognize them as part of their normal environment. Unafraid and responsive to their boat captain's call, they peek out from underbrush and between moss-draped trees and shrubs, frequently coming directly to the boat. In the safety and comfort of the boat, you can actually come within a few feet of jumping alligators.

Thank you to Captain Dustin for an incredible tour. This has been the highlight of my mums and my 4 weeks vacation in the USA. Dustin was so informative, funny and engaging. I really appreciate all he did on the tour to keep us all safe and ensure we all had a great time. The music was great too!
Loved the service, the captain, the ride! I can guarantee you'll see all sorts of wildlife and get up close and personal with some beautiful alligators! It was such an exp that od do it again.
Such an amazing experience, captain Dustin was great!
This was the highlight of our trip! Dustin was our guide and was the perfect person to do it! Try to get on his boat if you can. We loved the music, watching him interact with alligators, hold in a baby gator!, feeding raccoons, and the commentary. It was so much fun!
Thomas was a great guide! We would definitely do it again.
Very good experience, the guide is very good, and a good atmosphere on the boat.
Great experience with various animals; pigs, raccoons, and alligators! 🐊 We were able to discover the natural environment of these animals, the swamps, feed them, and even touch some!
