It will be a wonderful experience not only for the bar hopping and the drinks. You'll also get a look at the rest of Negril not just your hotel. Interact with real citizens that give you the real real on Jamaica and not the resort spill..
Great experience meeting with locals an enjoying some drinks including and beautiful ocean views and country side.
A must do trip in Negril. Fabulous host, great photo opportunities, meet new people & drink rum - what’s not to love?
The driver and his son picked us up at our resort and took us to 6 or so bars/restaurants around Negril. At each spot, he told us what to look for or what made the stop special. You could just have a drink, or you could strike up a convo with some local folk - sometimes they were characters. No matter what, the point is to get a little local vibe and support the economy outside the resorts. In that vein, if you take this trip, be sure to bring cash because most bars don’t take credit cards. Also a good idea to make it small bills so you can spread the wealth beyond just buying a drink! Highly recommend.
Was around 5 hours was some pretty views but way overbooked seating on bus. Allows kids and one stop doesn’t allow kids. Should just say no kid pub crawl so people know. Two bars are nice but a couple weren’t but drinks were pricy. Also had to stop ATM for people so know you must bring money cash when you go before getting on the bus. Some people held up stops too. Was some pretty cave and cliff views but wouldn’t book a 2nd one.
Overall it was a great experience. Not sure if there are certain bars we tour, but more stops that have food would be great. Over all it was an experience that I will be doing again in the furniture when I come back. The people we traveled with were great and the driver/guide was very helpful.
The first day they didn’t know we schedule but i called to reschedule to the next day and that was perfect for the both I waited a hour on them at the front then called to see and he said they had problems with the van and now saturday we haven’t heard anything I want my money back and have no clue on how to get a refund for the no show for two days
Great experience in Negril Jamaica. We wanted a chill activity to do so we could leave our resort and this was perfect. It was a great way to explore the island, meet other travelers and the locals. They took us to all types of bars, a cool coffee spot, nice beach view restaurants with some elements of surprises which was awesome because I don’t drink much. The bus was a little overpacked so it was hard to have comfortable space to sit but overall it was a good find and pastime.
If you like to drink you may like it. At every stop stays for about 50min so be prepared. A swimsuit is an excellent idea to but the hit. You don’t have to drink every stop.
If you like a few drinks and want to get out of your resort and see a bit of the real Jamaica don’t hesitate to book! It’s a brilliant afternoon out.
