In 1740, the mansion that’s known as Graycliff today was built by Captain John Howard Graysmith, a pirate who commanded the schooner Graywolf and became wealthy – and feared – due to his plundering exploits. During the Golden Age of Piracy, Nassau was a hotbed of pirate activity, and with its convenient location close to Nassau Harbour, there’s no doubt that Graycliff was at the center of the action. Today, visitors to Nassau Paradise Island can purchase premium John Howard Graysmith cigars from the Graycliff Cigar Company.
Explore the Distillery at John Waltings filled with history dating back to the late 1700's when pirate ruled the land. Enjoy a rum flight included in the tour!
Explore Bougainvillea Estates and enjoy a smooth glass of Sky Juice at Arawak Cay!

If you are staying at a hotel, please wait outside of your hotel lobby for pick-up. If you are arriving by CRUISE please the pickup point is unde the FAT TUESDAY SIGN across from the cruise port. It is a very easy landmark to find!

Slim Jim and his partner were awesome. Very nice, super helpful, willing to share their experiences as Bahamians, and were very safe. They did a great job to not make it feel like a sketchy tourist trap and more like a genuine way to experience a small part of their cultural and country.

Captain Silver (tour guide) was a Bahamian local that not only knew her history of the islands but also the local events, customs, holidays…the details that made the tour very interesting as well as the beverage samples. Absolutely interested in going back to several spots on the tour to learn more and experience the culture. Highly recommend.

Mad Mary and Chester made my trip! Not only was the tour fact filled but incredibly fun. All of the stops were local favorites with delicious drinks. Chester and Mary ensured that our tour was laughter filled and worth every penny. I’ve taken rum tours in my previous visits but this was by far the best. Will be taking again upon my next trip here. Shout out to them for making our experience unique. If you are debating it…just do it!

Excellent day tour, with few exciting stops with beer, rum and wine tastings. Great tour commentary by our lady Captain Mad Mary and supported by driver Captain Chester. Lots of fun, some history lessons, and great camaraderie with other attendees. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun day in Nassau!!!
