Meet your guide on Piazza Dante and start your tour through the ancient streets of Neapolis. We will take you back to Greek and Roman times through the cheerful alleys of ancient Naples.
Port'Alba, located on the left side of Piazza Dante, is one of the oldest gates of the city of Naples; this historic pertugio introduces the historic center of Naples and the Decumanus Major.
On the western side of the square it is possible to admire some remains of the walls of the Greek Neapolis. It is a fortification system made of compact tufa blocks and the walls have been dated, roughly, to the second half of the 4th century BC.
Heart of the historic center of Naples lies Via dei Tribunali also known as Decumano Maggiore. Historic businesses, such as some of the most famous Neapolitan pizzerias, and numerous monuments are concentrated along the route. From the main artery of Via dei Tribunali other historic city alleys develop, including Via San Gregorio Armeno the famous street of nativity scenes.

The picturesque street that runs from the Quartieri Spagnoli to the neighborhood of Forcella bisecting the Neapolitan city, known as the Decumano Inferiore. Walking along this street is a journey inside the "real Naples": here among beautiful churches, apartments where locals live, old buildings and a few small bars you can admire the most genuine essence of the city.
Tour will end in Piazza del Gesù Nuovo , one of the most important squares in the historic center of Naples surrounded by the church of the same name , Basilica of Santa Chiara and characteristic restaurants.
