This was a total waste of time and money. After reading the great reviews, we thought that it would be a treat to your Naples with a local. However, our guide, Antonio, despite being a nice person, did not have basic knowledge about many (most) locations and areas, and seemed to be very unprepared. It was like we were going on a walk with someone we had just met...tbh, I sustained most of the conversation, to break the awkward silences. Not really what you would expect on a private, guided tour. A case in point about....we talked a lot about pizza, something that Antonio was a bit more animated about. After the tour, I remembered that the first ever pizzeria was located in Naples, and I wanted to stop by for a slice, or at least a photo. Turns out that our 'tour' went right past the shop, but Antonio did not mention this. We informed the agency, who refunded 40% of the cost. While this is appreciated, it was not worth it, even with a that discount. With a short time in Naples, my wife and I should have just explored on our own.
Touring the city with Enya was like a wonderfully long conversation with a fast friend. She picked up on my interests and immediately adjusted the plan to include stops that would be (and were!) special to me. In my case, I am particularly interested in books and literature, so we spent some time on a street that had many bookstores. I also greatly enjoyed walking down the street next to the conservatory and hearing the students practicing. Music filled the air - it was a sublime moment. I am very grateful to Enya for sharing the day with me!

Donatella was brilliant. It was great to speak with a local from Napoli. She was full of enthusiasm and did all that I wanted to see and experience in the Spanish Quarter and around. It was a pity I didn't get to see the Veiled Christ because it had to be booked some time before you arrive, so I missed that. All the atmosphere and noise and chatter was all that I expected. All the washing must have been dried and done by the time I got there as it was in the late afternoon (smile). I would recommend Donatella to anyone wishing to experience this quarter. I will be back to say hello again some day.

Armando was an amazing guide! We saw all the highlights of Naples, and he tailored the tour perfectly to keep it fun and comfortable for my 86-year-old grandma as well. Avoid high heel shoes since the ground is a bit uneven! Good walking shoes are advised. We had Donatella as our guide. She is a local that had a lot of knowledge both of the history of different neighborhoods and the culture and customs of Napolitans. Everything from the lines of kings, to the differences in language between Napoli and other parts of Italy, to hidden gems and spots less visited by tourists. I can recommend taking a quick stop on your tour and enjoying a nice Fiocchi de Never (a pastry unique to Napoli filled with ricotta goodness) or other snack. Don't be afraid of asking questions or changing the direction/focus of the guided tour!

The company was great about matching us to a tour guide based on our interests. We wanted to learn about food and history, and our guide was very prepared. She also provided a ton of great recommendations about things to do and see and eat outside of the tour.
