Beware of this scam: we booked electronic tickets for the archaeological site of Mycenae with GetYourGuide because at the time I was trying to purchase the tickets, the official Greek Heritage site (where they cost less, by the way, and children are free) was not working well. To book on GetYourGuide, it was mandatory to choose a time slot; I chose 9-10: the instructions state that you can arrive between 9 and 9:59. We arrived at the acropolis at approximately 9:15. However, I could not have known that there were various monuments to visit inside the site and each one required ticket validation. So when we arrived at the Treasury of Atreus, it was past 11 and they did not let us through: we had to rebuy all the tickets!! But it was impossible to visit the entire site in one hour, and when I booked the time slot, I could not have known that there were multiple entrances to validate. To give an example, when I booked the Acropolis of Athens between 10 and 11, there was no separate entrance for the Erechtheion. Truly terrible organization, not to mention a scam, which we will report by leaving a very bad review of your tour operator. I hope it helps someone else who will have to book. As far as we are concerned, we will never book with GetYourGuide and Clio Muse again.
