Fantastic service and wonderful host

Outstanding Service Beyond Expectations
We booked the Mutianyu Great Wall Round-Trip Transfer (Private/Shared) + Ticket with Lily's Tours Beijing, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to China.
From start to finish, everything was perfectly organised.
What truly sets this company apart, however, is the extraordinary level of care they showed us when things didn't go according to plan. After we finished exploring the Great Wall, I suddenly became very unwell. Our driver immediately stepped in to help, taking me to a comfortable place to rest and staying with my husband and me for more than four hours while I recovered. He even went to a pharmacy to get medication and assisted with anything we needed.
As visitors who don't speak Chinese, finding ourselves in that situation could have been frightening and overwhelming. Instead, thanks to his kindness, patience, and support, we felt safe and cared for throughout the entire ordeal. My husband even tried to discuss compensating him for the extra time and assistance, but he wouldn't hear of it. His only concern was helping me recover and supporting my husband during a stressful situation.
We will never forget the professionalism, compassion, and genuine kindness we experienced that day.
It's easy to find a tour company that can organise transportation, but it's much harder to find people who truly care about their guests. We cannot recommend Lily's Tours highly enough.

Great trip, highly recommend
Great day visiting the Great Wall of China. Our driver Nicholas Wang was fantastic. Very polite and helpful.
We did the chairlift up and toboggan back down which was great fun. There was a brief rain shower when we were walking the wall which meant they shut the toboggan. We kept getting told it was about to reopen so we stayed in the queue. It took almost 2 hrs to reopen.
The queues are long to get the chairlift up. It’s best to arrive before 830 or at 1ish judging by the queues we saw when we came back down. Dispute the queues it was a great day and an amazing experience

"Great" Great Wall Experience with Nicholas
We had an incredible trip to the Great Wall! I would categorize the sight as a "bucket list" item and the chairlift ride up and toboggan down made it fun too!
Our trip was off to a great start. Our guide and driver, Nicholas Wang was prompt, welcoming, and made the entire day run smoothly. He is an exceptionally safe driver, which made us feel completely relaxed and comfortable throughout the journey. Beyond being professional, Nicholas is just a genuinely kind guy who is so easy to talk to. His English is excellent, making communication effortless and enjoyable.
If you're looking for a stress-free, engaging, and top-tier tour of the Great Wall, I would certainly consider the Mutianyu option. And ask for Nicholas! Highly recommended!

Awesome Great Wall of China Transfer Service with Nicholas Wang
We had a fantastic experience visiting the Great Wall of China with Nicholas Wang. He was very kind, spoke good English, and took care of everything for us. He picked us up directly from our hotel, organised our tickets, helped us get into the correct lines, and gave us clear instructions before dropping us off at the chairlift, which made the whole experience easy and stress-free. Nicholas also provided complimentary water and bananas, which was a thoughtful touch. Due to long queue times, we ended up taking longer than expected, but he was very patient and never made us feel rushed. Morning trip to the Great Wall
We had the absolute pleasure of being driven by Nicolas during our visit to the Great Wall, and we can recommend him. From the moment he picked us up at our hotel with a warm greeting and a big smile, his friendly and professional attitude set the tone for a perfect day. His English was great, and he answered every question we had with passion.
He personally escorted us to the cable car station and made sure we understood exactly where to go on the Wall. He gave some background history of the Wall and took some nice pictures of our family.
Can highly recommend to go to the Wall early in the morning (at 7 from Beijing) to avoid big crowds at the Wall.

Amazing Experience & Excellent Service
My family and I had a great experience tour to the Great Wall of China and all thanks to Nicholas Wang. Without him, it will not be a smooth journey for us. He came early to wait for us and very thoughtful of him to prepared us bananas to boost our energy for the trip. Even though we only book a driver, he does guide us throughout to the Great Wall and shared the history of it. He helps us to take a great family photo of us for memories keepsake. He’s very friendly and the experience is just amazing. I would highly recommend him to be your guide and he can speak English as well which is a plus point for non-chinese speaking tourists. He also provides us a token of appreciation for us to keep as memories.

Great experience at the Great Wall
We had an amazing experience at the Great Wall with our driver Wang Li (black Audi)
He was very friendly and very helpful, he used an app to translate which was very useful.
He brought us the whole way to the cable car to make sure we got up ok and collected us at the shuttle. He even had a beer waiting for us in the car on the way home!
The Great Wall was spectacular itself, the queue down for the toboggan took some time though

Great trip
Amazing experience. Our driver picked us up at 7am and we were at the Great Wall by 9am and it was a Monday and not busy even though forbidden city is closed on a Monday. Driver didn’t speak English but this was not a problem as he translated through an app and it made life easy and made our trip great. FYI - the ticket includes chair lift up and toboggan down, it didn’t include cable car again not a problem as the Great Wall chairlift end was not busy when we got up there. Once we came down we decided to go to the other section where the cable car went and purchased tickets online however it was busy with lots of people. Definitely go as early as you can to avoid the crowds and get the best pictures.
