Description
We’ve brought together a team of internationally renowned artists, designers & historians — both from Broadway & the experiential world — to design the museum. It will be educational, but told in a fun, accessible, brightly colored way! We are going to share information about the history of the Broadway theaters through projection mapped videos, the timeline of Broadway told through immersive environments that will leave people’s Instagram feeds full of great photos and give guests a behind-the-scenes look at the making of a Broadway show by spotlighting all the jobs and what it takes to create a Broadway show. There are other surprises and sections of the museum that will excite fans young and old!

A Must Do in NYC
An absolute must see if you’re a Broadway fan! From the history to costumes to the behind the scenes, it’s completely immersive with staff along the way to answer any questions and snap photo ops!

This was a fun experience. Worth the ticket fee. It took us abut 75 minutes to go through the museum

Great for theater lovers!
The Museum of Broadway was a great stop for our theater lover. A combination of history and contemporary displays, with plenty of spots to pose for pics and have those Instagram moments. An enjoyable experience - got us, worth the admission!

It’s great to see the old...
It’s great to see the old pictures and props. Very quick if you want it to be but I lingered. I don’t see how someone with limited mobility would do it.

The show was okay not...
The show was okay not bad, but not amazing either. My daughter and I arrived early, but it felt like other people who came after us were being brought in or assisted before us, which was a little frustrating. The waiting and crowding definitely affected the overall experience for me. I would just recommend coming prepared for it to be very crowded and for the process to feel a little unorganized at times. Overall, it was an okay experience, but not something that really stood out to me.

Broadway's walk down memory lane and why it's always changing.
We believed the Museum's website that the experience took 1.5 to 2 hours...we could have spent longer. My wife and I are "readers." We loved the way the museum was laid out chronilogically and showed how drama and music merged and also grew independently. The text, photos, and archive items in each historic era helped to tell the unique history of Broadway fare, and the various arts as well. There were costumes, props and models of sets and videos. We'd highly recommend the museum to theater-goers...especially those who seek to understand why Broadway is such an exciting and vibrant area.

Lovely Museum, well worth a visit.
What a lovely museum. Well priced and we could have spend longer if not had other commitments. It wasn't too busy and you can mill around easily at your own rate. Staff were helpful. Best of theatre fans obviously but really liked they also had a floor on technical production which was excellent.
