Nice way to spend extended layover
Nice visit seeing Muscat highlights during a long layover. Sites include Sultan Qaboos mosque, Royal Opera House, royal palace, Mutrah Fort & Mutrah Souq. Pace was not rushed. Vehicle clean and ample room. Allowed for storage of luggage in vehicle as well. (I was changing from domestic to international with change of airline.) Pleasant conversation with guide who spoke excellent English. Includes entry fees to site and bottled water.
