Itinerary
Navigate through the Venetian Lagoon to reach the islands and enjoy the view!
The island of Murano is the first stop of this excursion: you will have a chance to enter a glass factory and see the masters working the glass as they have been doing for centuries and then visit the center of the island.
Second stop of this half day excursion is Burano, famous for the colorful fishermen's houses and for the traditional handmade laces.
Torcello is the third and last stop of this tour. The island is the first to be inhabited in the Venetian lagoon and still shows the traces of its origins.
The church of Santa Fosca stands in the main square of Torcello and is a fine example of venetian-byzantine style.
In the middle of Torcello stands the ancient Attila's throne.
Cross the Devil's Bridge which still preserves the shape of the ancient Venetian bridges
The boat leaves from St'Mark's Square, which you will have the chance to admire from a different perspective.

The first boat we board was good, but the majority of our travel was in a older boat, hard seating no airconditing or fans, the guides commentating was mainly in foreign language with very little English and hard to understand when speaking in English. The tour of the glass factory was good, there was no actual tour of a lace factory, just lace shops, some of the distances and time explained to visit the island churches was extremely challenging.
Murano and burano were absolutely beautiful! The glass show and scenery were breathtaking. The visit to Torcello was uneventful and could’ve been skipped entirely to spend more time on the other two islands. Overall a good experience.
There is very little time in burano , the best island of all we only had barley an hour , very disappointing.. it would have been better to only do 2 islands murano and burano
We chise an English tour ,but it was a mixed one and we had to walk ourself on the 2 islands without the guide as the guide was in the boat itself
A enjoyable three Island hop around the northern lagoon. The guild was informative switching between three languages with easy. The highlight for me was watching the master craftsmen and women showing their expertise with such grace and skill.

This was not a tour. It was just a boat ride between islands. The tour guide only spoke on the boat between islands. She spoke 3 languages and so quickly that you couldn’t understand what she was saying most of the time. There was approximately 100 people on this so called tour. Plus, when we arrived for our 1:30 tour we were advised that the 1:30pm had been cancelled some time ago. We did not receive any notification of this cancellation. They put us on the 2:30pm instead. Definitely not a tour I would recommend to anyone. Use the public ferries instead and spend as much or as little time on each island as you would like.
Make sure you arrive very early and know exactly where you gave to meet at. Our start time said 10:30 we arrived at the location 54 something and there was no directions, apparently we had to go inside to get tickets printed then had to walk further down to catch the boat. We arrived there at 10:06 am thinking we were early but the boat had ledt at 10:00. They did allow us to take the 11:00 boat but their directions are not clear especially if you're not familiar with the area
We could not hear or understand the guide on the boat, going from each island. Not enough time was given on each island.
Great experience discovering the islands of Murano and Burano.
