Description
Experience Oktoberfest and Munich's rich beer history at its finest on the famous Oktoberfest Experience! Learn the history of both the city and the autumn festival while enjoying Bavarian food and drink in central Munich and at the festival grounds. The day starts with a traditional Bavarian breakfast (beer included of course!) in the city center where you will meet your guide for the day. Then make your way through Munich to the world’s largest inner-city beer garden where you learn more about beer, beer gardens and cellars. Along the way you taste different types of popular beers in Bavaria. Arrive at the much-awaited Oktoberfest grounds and bypass the crowds to your reserved tables – complete with assorted Bavarian meats & cheeses. Take some photos with the lederhosen clad waiters and enjoy typical fest fare 2 liters of beer and a half-roasted chicken.

Important Information

- Back packs are not allowed in the tents due to security reasons
- Purses are allowed but only up to a capacity of three litres volume or a size of 20 cm x 15 cm x 10 cm.
- DSLR cameras are OK but we don't recommend it, a smart phone camera is more than enough
- Ladies: wear comfortable walking shoes or a low wide heal, Munich is a beautiful city with lots of cobble stoned streets. We also recommend wearing spandex shorts underneath your dresses to avoid embarrassment on carnival rides etc.
- Getting dressed up in Dirndl and Lederhosen will make it a trip to remember along with all those photos
- Book a group multi day train ticket so its easy to get around - MVG Group Ticket 1 or 3 day
- Cash for spending and tipping. Cards are often not accepted.
- Make sure that you bring the business card of your hotel with you (you wouldn't believe how many forget where they're staying)
- Bring a photo copy of your valid ID but leave the original in your hotel room

Best day ever!
I mean just wow. Johannes was amazing and now an amazing friend. The value for money is beyond what you might think. The last day of oktoberfest 26 was spent with an amazing guide who both personable, relatable amd a joy to be around. From the history lessons along the way, breakfast and then oktoberfest table it was a delight and pleasure to be around Johannes and our group. 10/10 would recommend and do again next year.

Great time, great value, would do again!
What a great experience. And yhe best way to see the city and oktoberfest. I thoroughly enjoyed the people we went with and the english spreading guide, john, an english native. Would recommend and do again when I come.

Best way to experience Oktoberfest for the first time!!!
My friend recommended this booking to me as she went with the same group when she came to Oktoberfest and we are SO GLAD WE DID!!! We had an awesome day with this group, Angus and Lauren were our guides and since we went open day, I can’t see how we would have been able to do this any other way since it was so so packed at the fairgrounds. Easy meeting point, nice people, great food, and great beer. On the way to Oktoberfest with the group we were given two beers (or water option) and at Oktoberfest we had a nice platter at our table plus two beer tickets and a chicken ticket. Beers at the tent were huge Liter mugs so you will definitely be feeling it! We met others from the Midwest that we got to know throughout the day who we became fast friends with and spent the rest of the day hanging out with and partying with! We were in the biggest and loudest tent but we were there to have a great time and a great time we did have!!! There is no other way I could’ve done Oktoberfest given how busy it was and we are so so glad we booked with this group. What a fantastic day and experience!!!!

Great way to experience Oktoberfest your first time
Had a great time. Good number of people (20) in our group. Had activities that allowed us to get to know one another. Well paced. Layla was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions posed to her. She was very friendly. Was great to have priority seating in the tent where you had a great view of everything.

Oktoberfest
The tour was awesome! Charlie was an exceptional guide who kept us engaged and made sure our experience was top notch. The small group size facilitated interaction with fellow visitors…we all had so much fun!

Very good option for Oktoberfest
Excellent option to have an experience at Oktoberfest. First a typical Munich breakfast, then you walk a bit to take the subway to go to the Oktoberfest site. We got the Hofbräuhaus tent and the upper part from where you can observe all the activity in the tent. It includes a platter of cold cuts per table, enough for everyone, 2 liters of beer per person, and for food 1/2 roasted chicken, and there are also other food options. Very good experience.

Oktoberfest first timer.
Great experience for first timer at Oktoberfest. Having reserved tables and a guide to take us through the do’s and don’t was helpful. Our guide Timmy was fabulous and made the day even more fun!!
