The quad tour of four hours contains beautiful views of the entire Zadar archipelago and the Zadar hinterland. We climb to 1100 m above sea level with a few breaks for photography. Driving over the most beautiful mountain road in Croatia, Majstorska cesta, we pass by the church of St. Francis dating from 1832. Also, we pass the locations where films about the Indian chief Winnetou were made. Continuing the ride, we can see windmills up close, after which we arrive at the viewpoint of the canyon of the river Zrmanja, then we return mostly on macadam. The whole ride is led by our guide who points out the beauties and curiosities of our region at every stop. You can choose between these three options: Single or Double Rider – 1 or 2 people on 1 quad Family – up to 4 people in 1 buggy, with at least one child between 10 and 18 years of age Friends – up to 4 people in 1 buggy

Tulove grede is a strange karst phenomenon on Velebit. It is located in Park of nature Velebit and it is about 1km long with highest peak of 1120 meters above sea level. On this spot was filmed Winnetou.
Majstorska cesta (State road D547) is a state road in Croatia and was the first modern road in Croatia and still is the most Beautifull Mountain road in Croatia.
Zrmanja canyon is one of the most beautiful view point in Croatia. On this spot was filmed Winnetou.

Wonderful experience totally immersed in nature, a different way to see the beauties that only a wild land like Croatia has to offer. Despite the fact that it was an adventurous experience, it is still accessible to everyone. All the staff members were super kind and helpful, they had a lot of patience, we had a lot of fun and saw unforgettable places! Super satisfied!

Just an awesome experience! We rode way up into the mountains on fire roads. Very safe and well guided. We were concerned it might be hot but it was very pleasant in the mountains (+3,000’ gain in altitude) absolutely gorgeous views. This is a family owned business and they really work hard to ensure that you have a good time and we did! 6 adults and one 11-year old. Highly recommend. Best part is they picked us up and returned us to the cruise ship (about 4;-minutes). Very nice drive to location. Do not do the local tours as they are nothing g like this one - it’s well worth the 45-minute drive.

Epic views , superbly organised from pick up to drop off. Excellent guides who give a wonderful insight to the stunning vistas. Independently family run businesses are the cornerstone of community spirit and this certainly came across from Start Travel who hosted the activity. Me and my husband are so happy we did this tour! We came to zadar on a cruise ship (Royal Caribbean)we were obviously nervous to not make it in time to our ship but we did. We were done by 3 and ship was to leave at 4:30. Being that we were only there for a couple hours I want to do something where we got to see multiple beautiful parts of Croatia and this tour was just that. Our tour guide was pleasant and very informative. His mother also works there they were both really great to us and made sure we had essentials like water and windbreaker jackets for when we got up top. The ATV were well kept and comfortable. It had a back rest and some handles for me to be able to hold on and also a back compartment where we could store our backpacks with plenty of room to spare. I would recommend this tour to anyone coming in through a cruise or even just anyone in town !

Wow. What an awesome group of people. We booked super last minute and was sent within an hour details on where to meet, what to wear and expectations on the day. We were picked up on time and taken to the quads. The instructions were clear and informative. Our tour guide made sure everybody was safe, having fun and always had cold water. He spoke about the history of each location which was very nice. The trails were good for beginners but still gave you that adrenaline rush. After our time on the quads, we were asked if we wanted to stay and explore the town and be taken back to Zadar later. They went out of there way to fetch us 2 towels so we could enjoy the sea and town for an hour before they took us back to Zadar. As we were the only ones in the transfer back they kindly offered to take us back to our accommodation and save us the walk in the heat. I would 100% recommend this tour and the lovely family which runs it. A brilliant day.

This was a really fun activity. Great guides, varied countryside, easy to ride quad bike and came back really dusty but with huge smiles on our faces - we’d highly recommend this tour however old you are!!

We loved the activity! Luca and Natasa were excellent hosts and so much information was given at each stop really helping us with the experience. We were first time quad bikers and it was not difficult to grasp instructions for driving, Luca went through demonstration clearly at the start and he was with us along the way during the activity making us feel safe and secure, but also allowing us to go at a pace we were comfortable with. You really get to gain an appreciation for the nature in this amazing country with this activity, you experience something you won’t be able to from the usual walking or boat tours. Breathtaking views across Zadar. I highly recommend this activity, you won’t regret it!!! This has been the highlight of our trip!!

Super Quad Tour with two super guides. Of the 4 hours actually rode about 3.40h quad. Always getting information. The views were fantastic. We felt very comfortable and would do it again anytime.
