Tour guide was very knowledgeable on the subject matter. Also was quite friendly and courteous. The van was comfortable.
This tour met and exceeded all of our expectations! We thoroughly enjoyed the tour of old Alexandria along with a few bonus sites on our drive to and from Mount Vernon. The food at the Mount Vernon Inn was delicious! Highly recommend the crabcakes.
It was very informative and interesting. The restaurant at Mount Vernon was excellent with a great and varied menu. Our tour guide, Bobby gave us lots of information on the ride there. Thumbs up for Bobby!
Excellent tour really provides a good overview of the history of the location, guide was free for questions and very knowledgeable about the history of the site and era.
We had a very nice time. We got lost on the way there and the driver picked us up by the train station instead of the meeting point. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We didn’t get to see everything at Mount Vernon but we knew we would not get a chance to do everything. We saw the things we wanted to see. The only issue I had was that the Van was a little bit warm. The air conditioner did not seem to be blowing out cold at all. But I would definitely recommend the tour. The driver even dropped us off by our shuttle. Very appreciated!.
Robert was great! Chatty, humorous, engaging. Knowledgable... Answered questions like a college professor.
Rating pickup as 5 stars because we were running late due to problems with public transit. The tour company was able to accommodate our group, despite the delay.
Excellent knowledge and allocation of time. Highlighted excursion of our 5 day DC trip
We had a great time with our driver and showed us around the sites. He was very knowledgeable of everything.
My flight into DC was canceled due to extreme weather and the airlines could not et me on a flight until the evening of the next day, therefore, I missed my tour and my $298.00 was not refunded. However, the operator did offer to reschedule my party's tour on another date. I learned to never arrange a tour on the first day after my scheduled arrival in a city. I will wait to arrive and take my chance on it being full. An expensive lesson learned.
