The Mosaico transfer involves: Departure at 8:30 am, arrival at the Roman villa of the farmhouse (stop for about 2 hours). Departure for the valley of the temples (stop for about 2 hours). Return to Syracuse. Our cars are registered for public use, equipped with the required municipal authorizations and have free access to limited traffic areas and preferential lanes in all cities. We began this trip with coffee and delicious Sicilian cookies, a good start! Then on the way to the Valle dei Templi. We walked around there about 2 hours. How beautiful and impressive! Claudio, our driver, organized a delicious lunch at a nice restaurant near Villa Romana del Casale, where we later admired the beautiful mosaics. On the return trip we saw the eruption of Mount Etna. Not part of the tour of course, but it was fantastic to see! Claudio is a great driver, is polite, kind and has a nice sense of humor. It was a very pleasant day! Thanks Claudio! Highly recommended!

I took a trip with Giovanni from Ortigia to the Valley dei Templi (Agrigento), with a stop in Villa Romana del Casale and lunch in Piazza Armerina. Marvelous the Roman site in the Villa and the greek stuff in the Valley is outstanding. Giovanni was very nice, very patient -and that is very important in that kind of trips- and the restaurant he recommended (Trattoria La Ruota) has good home made pasta (I tried the “Norma”) and a nice open space. I strongly recommend him. We even made it to San Leone beach to see the sunset on time 😎 A whole day of history, good food and nice friendship with Giovanni.

Had a great full day tour to the Villa Casale mosaics and Caltegirone with Giovanni and Piero. Comfortable ride and flexible w timings. Full marks for the restaurant and ceramic factory recommendations. A great way to get to some amazing places in Central Sicily

With a couple of friends I made this tour. After a pleasent ride, with a coffee stop, we arrived at Villa Romana del Casale, where we admired the beautiful mosaïcs. In the neighborhood from the Villa, Giovanni arranged a nice lunch at a very good restaurant. After that we continued the journey to the Valle dei Templi, where we enjoyed the wonderful temples and a stunning sunset. Giovanni has an comfortable car, is an excellent driver, is enthusiastic, very kind and is doing his utmost to make you feel at ease. It was a marvelous day. Highly recommended!
